Al-Sadr: We Are Moving Forward With Forming A National Majority Government.

Today, Tuesday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, praised the integrity and independence of the Iraqi judiciary.  Al-Sadr said in a tweet on Twitter, “Once again, the Iraqi judiciary proves its integrity & independence and does not succumb to political pressures.”

He stressed, “We are proceeding with the formation of a national majority government, and our door is still open to those we still have good faith in,” noting that “everyone will remain our brothers, even if they adopt the opposition or boycott as long as they strive for reform and the prestige of Iraq is working.”

Al-Sadr continued, “nothing to subordination, no to violence, no to breaking the law, and peace be upon the people of peace.”
