Shafaq News/ Dozens of people took part in demonstrations today, Thursday, in Al-Nusour Square in the center of the capital, Baghdad, against the Shiite coordination framework and its leaders.

The coordinating framework includes Shiite political forces opposed to the results of the legislative elections that took place in October of the year 2021, to become a pole in opposition to the Sadrist bloc led by Muqtada al-Sadr, which topped the highest percentage of seats in the elections and insisted on forming a political majority government in the country.

The demonstrators carried banners accusing the leaders of the framework of financial corruption, while also calling for the trial of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, "publicly".

Political parties and the popularity of al-Maliki, who held the position of Prime Minister of Iraq for two terms, are responsible for the fall of two-thirds of Iraq to the hands of ISIS in mid-2014, as well as the organization’s perpetration of the massacre at the Speicher military base in the city of Tikrit in 2016, in which 1,700 soldiers were shot dead.

The protesters expressed their displeasure with the attempts to grant the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the second term, calling for Muhammad Al-Halbousi, the leader of the "Progress" coalition, to remain in the position of Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament.

The demonstrators renewed their demands to eliminate financial and administrative corruption, stressing the need to remove the dissolved Baath Party from taking power again in the country.

A group calling itself "Iraqi Protesters" had earlier called for a demonstration in Baghdad under the title "Khamis - the tried - not to be tried."

Iraq: Demonstrations refuse to renew the mandate of the three presidencies and demand the trial of al-Maliki

Iraq - Demonstrations refuse to renew the mandate of the three presidencies and demand the trial of al-MalikiYesterday, Thursday, political sources in the Shiite “coordinating framework” revealed new understandings with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to unite the Shiite house in the negotiations to form the new government, and to choose the president of the republic, noting the “framework”‘s rejection of the renewal of the current prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi. , for a second term, amid a gathering of dozens in Al-Nusour Square in Baghdad, to demand the trial of the leader of the “State of Law” coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, for causing the “fall” of a number of cities to the hands of the “Islamic State” organization, and also to express their refusal to extend the mandate of the three presidencies.
Local news websites transmitted pictures of protesters who carried banners denouncing the attempts to renew the mandate of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, denouncing the remaining Muhammad Al-Halbousi, the leader of the “Progress” coalition, as Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament.
The demonstrators also carried banners accusing the leaders of the “framework” of financial corruption, while also calling for al-Maliki to be tried “publicly”.
The demonstrators renewed their demands to eliminate financial and administrative corruption, stressing the need to remove the dissolved Baath Party from assuming power again in the country.
The banners included slogans (the government that does not try al-Maliki, the leader of the framework for handing over cities to the terrorist ISIS, we will not allow it to stay), as well as (the leader of the framework is wanted for the Iraqis) with a picture of al-Maliki marked with a public trial.
Among the slogans raised by the protesters (No renewal, no extension), accompanied by pictures of Saleh, Al-Kazemi and Al-Halbousi, bearing an (X), as well as other phrases that included (No to Al-Halbousi. No to renewal for the corrupt. No to the return of the criminal Baath).
A group calling itself “Iraqi Protesters” had earlier called for a demonstration in Baghdad under the title “Khamis – the tempted is not tempted.”
Meanwhile, the forces of the “Coordination Framework” met, yesterday evening, at Al-Maliki’s house, to discuss a number of files, most notably the Federal Court’s decision to postpone the decision on the case against the legitimacy of the first session of the House of Representatives.
Hisham Al-Rikabi, director of Al-Maliki’s office, said in a statement, “A meeting of the coordination framework took place in Al-Maliki’s office, and it is not true that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi attended the meeting,” after rumors circulated about that.
On the other hand, a member of the Coordination Framework, Aref Al-Hamami, confirmed that there is a very close breakthrough with the unification of the “framework” and the “current,” and the entry in one bloc to the parliament, while he renewed his refusal to renew Al-Kazemi.

I've thought for quite a while now that Maliki would have to be brought to justice one way or another for this thing to happen.

It would be great if they recovered the BILLIONS he has stolen

The Wheels of justice move so slowly EVERYWHERE!! With all that oil you would think they could grease those wheels.

Ironically it is the OIL that slowed down the justice.

BUT THIS IS HAPPENING!! THIS IS A CLEAR POSTIVE SIGN/OMEN   IMHO!

and the Timing is lining up perfectly

FYI

Can't hang a potato noose will slip.

In the spirit of justice he should be given a choice.

Death by potato slicer or masher OR

By Lethal injection Sour cream, chives, melted butter and or cheese.

Now I'm getting hungry.

I think I will have sweet potato instead.

Check those burlap potato sacks in his potata cellar which is his version

of those Iraqi D.U.M.B.S. Deep Underground Military Bases.

The awful things that could be down there.

No telling what they will find, Maybe the stolen Billions, cloning critters (sheep, goats, donkeys) all been done

Oh yeah humans too. Hence this is our 3rd retread/recycle Biden or Brandon as more commonly referred too.

Oh no!! Cloning potato heads. That is scary. The thought of Maliki Clones running around.

Let's start with getting rid of one.

How about this?

Could be a whole tater deep French fried

Or in a rush and don't want to take the time. Just going for that  "git er done" look?

Just throw him in the Microwave and Nuke him.

Definitely an improvement on a Tater makeover
