Today, Monday, the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, chaired an emergency meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, in which the security situation in the capital, Baghdad, was discussed during the past hours.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office indicated that the Ministerial Council stressed that the terrorist operations that took place in the capital in the past hours aim to destabilize security and societal peace, and strict measures will be taken and security plans developed that would put an end to such sabotage acts that threaten public security in the country. And the security leaders who witnessed security breaches will be reconsidered, and there will be accountability for those proven to be negligent in performing their security duties.
Al-Kazemi directed all security leaders to ensure that their security plans and procedures are appropriate to the situation in the country, and that their tasks are not limited to the reaction to the event after its occurrence.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces also directed the redistribution of work spaces for the security and intelligence services, and Mr. Al-Kazemi stressed the need to activate the intelligence effort, and that his role be essential in security confrontations, and in the pursuit of terrorist groups and crime gangs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ministerial Council for National Security issued several security directives that would control security in the capital, Baghdad and the rest of the cities of Iraq, as follows:
1- Emphasizing the previous directives regarding motorcycles by preventing them from being carried by more than one person, as well as restricting their movement in the street starting at 6:00 evening until 6 am.
2- Restricting the movement of government vehicles and preventing them from leaving after official working hours, except with a worksheet.
3- Setting financial rewards for citizens for reporting any suspicious item.
4- Requiring all shop owners to place surveillance cameras in their workplaces.

Including rewards.. Baghdad operations: instructions will be issued to implement security decisions
  
{Umniah: Al Furat News} A source in the Baghdad Operations Command stated that instructions will be issued by the operations to implement the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security.

The source told {Euphrates News} that "instructions will be issued by the Operations Command because the Ministerial Security Meeting for National Security is the one who determined these decisions," noting that "all leaders were informed of the decisions and the matter became obligatory from the moment it was issued." 

He pointed out, "to inform the security units of the decisions of the Ministerial Security Council."

Yesterday, the Ministerial Council for National Security held an emergency session and issued directives, including “emphasis on previous directives regarding motorcycles by preventing them from being carried by more than one person, as well as restricting their movement in the street from 6 pm until 6 am, and restricting the movement of government vehicles and preventing them from leaving after Official working hours except with a worksheet.

The council also decided "to set financial rewards for citizens for reporting any suspicious item, and to oblige all shop owners to place surveillance cameras in their workplaces."

Traffic for the Euphrates News: The decision to restrict the movement of motorcycles includes {delivery}
  
{Local: Al Furat News} The General Traffic Directorate confirmed that the decision of the Ministerial Council for National Security regarding restricting the movement of motorcycles includes the owners of the degrees of the delivery service.

And the traffic media told {Euphrates News}: "The implementation of the partial ban on motorcycles came based on the decisions of the Ministerial Security Council, and it is not within the powers of the Traffic Directorate to grant any exception to any category."

He stressed that "the decision will apply to everyone, without exception."

The Ministerial Council for National Security had issued, after an emergency meeting the day before yesterday, Monday, several security directives that would control security in the capital, Baghdad and the rest of the cities of Iraq, including “emphasizing the previous directives regarding motorcycles by preventing them from being carried by more than one person, as well as restricting their movement in the street, starting from From 6 pm until 6 am. 

He also decided to "restrict the movement of government cars and prevent them from leaving after official working hours, except with a worksheet."

Yesterday, the General Traffic Directorate issued instructions to ban motorcycles in accordance with the decision of the Ministerial Security Council, and indicated that “it is strictly forbidden to drive motorcycles of all types, registered and unregistered, from six in the evening until six in the morning every day, and the violator is punished by impounding the motorcycle and imposing a fine. The amount of 100,000 dinars is based on Article {25/Second/A} of the above traffic law.

And the traffic confirmed, "Statement No. (6) of 2020 regarding the prohibition of driving a motorcycle in the event of its independence for more than two people, and the violator shall be punished with the same penalty."
