The deputy of the "Quds Force" of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Falahzadeh, said that the American forces "will flee" from the entire region soon.

Must be lost in translation…. The only “fleeing” will be the ones escaping his Shemagh!😊

Two drones targeting US forces at Baghdad airport were shot down this morning as terrorists launched an attack on the anniversary of the killing of a revered Iranian commander.

The 'suicide drones, or improvised cruise missiles' were launched at a compound housing US advisors at Baghdad airport at around 4.30am local time, security sources said.

A counter-rocket C-RAM system shot the drones down 'without incident,' a US-led coalition source added.

The attack comes two years after General Qassem Soleimani and his Iraqi lieutenant were blown up by a US reaper drone as their convoy drove out of Baghdad airport.

Donald Trump ordered the strike after intelligence revealed Soleimani was plotting attacks on US troops in Iraq.

Scrawled in Arabic across one of the wings of the drones shot down this morning was the message 'Soleimani's revenge.'

Mourners, including members of Iraq's al-Hashed al-Shaabi ex-paramilitary alliance, take part in a symbolic funeral procession towards the tomb of slain Iraqi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in the central holy shrine city of Najaf, on Monday, with photos of Al-Muhandis (right) and Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani (left) held aloft

Terrorist general with the blood of THOUSANDS on his hands

Qassem Soleimani was one of the most popular figures in Iran and seen as a deadly adversary by America and its allies.

The 62-year-old head of the Quds, or Jerusalem, Force of Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, Soleimani shaped Tehran's foreign policy throughout the Middle East.

US officials say the Guard under Soleimani taught Iraqi militants how to manufacture and use especially deadly roadside bombs against US troops after the invasion of Iraq.

Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution swept the shah from power and Soleimani joined the Revolutionary Guard in its wake.

He deployed to Iran's northwest with forces that put down Kurdish unrest following the revolution. In 1980, Iraq invaded Iran and began the two countries long, bloody eight-year war.

Soleimani became known for his opposition to 'meaningless deaths' on the battlefield, while still weeping at times with fervor when exhorting his men into combat, embracing each individually.

Soleimani's charisma propelled him to the senior officer ranks. In 1998, he was named commander of the Quds Force.

His profile rose suddenly when he was pushed forward as the public face of Iran's intervention in the Syrian conflict from 2013, appearing in battlefield photos, documentaries - and even being featured in a music video and animated film.

Western leaders saw him as central to Iran's ties with militia groups including Lebanon's Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas.

Terrorist general with the blood of THOUSANDS on his hands: Qassem Soleimani masterminded the killing of hundreds of US troops in IED attacks, helped Assad slaughter his people in Syria and was 'more powerful than Iran's president'

The BDSC compound houses 'a very small number of coalition troops who are not in a combat role,' the source said, describing them as logistical troops, contractors and civilian personnel.

'The Iraqis have opened an investigation,' the coalition source said.

'There is no damage, but this is a civilian airport, it is very dangerous to launch this type of attack.'

The January 3, 2020 US strike killed Soleimani - who headed the Quds Force, the foreign operations arm of Iran's Revolutionary Guards - and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy leader of the Hashed al-Shaabi coalition of armed groups.

The night-time strike ordered by Trump struck a convoy in which Soleimani and Muhandis were travelling on the edge of the airport.

Soleimani, commonly known as the second-most powerful man in Iran and tipped as a future president, was so badly maimed in the strike that he had to be identified by a large ring he wore on his finger.

He had just landed in Baghdad airport on a plane from either Syria or Lebanon around 12.30am when he was met on the tarmac by Muhandis, deputy commander of the pro-Iran Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.

Muhandis pulled up to the aircraft steps in two cars before Soleimani and Mohammed Ridha Jabri, public relations chief for the PMF who had been traveling with him, climbed inside and were driven away.

Moments later, as the cars passed through a cargo area headed for an access road leading out of the airport, the convoy was struck by missiles fired by an MQ-9 Reaper drone - a deadly unmanned aircraft that is designed primarily for offensive strikes.

Both vehicles were instantly reduced to smoldering wrecks - killing Soleimani, Muhandis and three others.

The Hashed - a coalition of former paramilitary groups now integrated into the Iraqi state security apparatus - held a candle-lit vigil Sunday at the airport for the two men killed.

The US said at the time that Soleimani was planning imminent action against US personnel in Iraq, a country long torn between the competing demands of its principal allies Washington and Tehran.

Five days after his killing, Iran fired missiles at an air base in Iraq housing US troops and another near Arbil in the country's north.

Since then dozens of rockets and roadside bombs have targeted US security, military and diplomatic sites across Iraq.

Israeli newspaper hacked on anniversary of Iranian general's killing by U.S.

Tehran-backed Houthi rebels also seized an Emirati-flagged ship in the Red Sea in the latest sign of Mideast tensions.

By Associated Press

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Yemen’s Houthi rebels seized an Emirati-flagged ship in the Red Sea, officials said Monday, the latest sign of Mideast tensions as hackers targeted a major Israeli newspaper’s website to mark America’s 2020 killing of an Iranian general.

The seizure of the Rwabee marks the latest assault in the Red Sea, a crucial route for international trade and energy shipments. The Iranian-backed Houthis later acknowledged the incident off the coast of Hodeida, a long-contested prize of the grinding war in Yemen.

Meanwhile, no group immediately claimed responsibility for the hacking of the Jerusalem Post. The hackers replaced the Post’s homepage with an image depicting a missile coming down from a fist bearing a ring long associated with Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian general killed by a U.S. drone strike in Iraq two years ago.

First word of the Rwabee’s seizure came from the British military’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, which only said an attack targeted an unnamed vessel around midnight. The coordinates it offered corresponded to the Emirati-flagged landing craft Rwabee, which hadn’t given its location via satellite-tracking data for hours, according to the website MarineTraffic.com.

A statement from the Saudi-led coalition, carried by state media in the kingdom, acknowledged the attack hours later, saying the Houthis had committed an act of “armed piracy” involving the vessel. The coalition asserted the ship carried medical equipment from a dismantled Saudi field hospital in the distant island of Socotra, without offering evidence.

“The Houthi militia must immediately release the ship, otherwise the coalition forces shall take all necessary measures and procedures to deal with this violation, including the use of force,” Brig. Gen. Turki al-Malki said in a statement.

A similar incident happened in 2016 involving the Emirati vessel SWIFT-1, which had been sailing back and forth in the Red Sea between an Emirati troop base in Eritrea and Yemen. The vessel came under attack by Houthi forces in 2016. The Emirati government asserted the SWIFT-1 had carried humanitarian aid; U.N. experts later said of the claim that they were “unconvinced of its veracity.”

A Houthi military spokesman, Yahia Sarei, announced that rebel forces had seized what he described as an Emirati “military cargo ship” carrying equipment into Yemen’s territorial waters “without any license” to engage in “hostile acts” against Yemen’s stability. He said the rebels would offer more details on the seizure later.

An employee at the vessel’s owners, Abu Dhabi-based Liwa Marine Services, told The Associated Press that the Rwabee appeared to have been the target but said they had no other information and declined to comment further. The employee did not give her name and hung up.

In the attack targeting the Jerusalem Post’s website, the image posted by the hackers depicts an exploding target from a recent Iranian military drill designed to look like the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center near the city of Dimona. The facility is already home to decades-old underground laboratories that reprocess the reactor’s spent rods to obtain weapons-grade plutonium for Israel’s nuclear bomb program.

Under its policy of nuclear ambiguity, Israel neither confirms nor denies having atomic weapons.

BAGHDAD - Baghdad airport, where advisory forces from the international coalition led by the United States are located, were attacked on Monday by two booby-trapped drones, which coincided with the second anniversary of the assassination of the Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, in an American strike at the same airport.
The former commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, was responsible for foreign operations in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and one of the most prominent architects of the Islamic Republic's regional policy. He and Al-Muhandis were killed by a US drone strike shortly after their departure from Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020.
An official in the International Coalition to Combat Jihadists in Iraq said that Al-Qaeda was attacked on Monday by "two booby-trapped drones around 4:30 a.m." on Monday.
He added that the US "Seram Air Defense System" had shot down the two planes, explaining that "the attack did not result in damage."
Pictures published by the coalition showed remnants of the two planes, bearing the words "Revenge of the Leaders."
No one claimed responsibility after the attack.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, indicated that "an Iraqi investigation has begun into the incident."

The Popular Mobilization held celebrations on the second anniversary of the assassination of Al-Muhandis and Soleimani
The Popular Mobilization held celebrations on the second anniversary of the assassination of Al-Muhandis and Soleimani

For days, the Popular Mobilization Forces, consisting of several factions loyal to Iran, have held celebrations on the second anniversary of the assassination of al-Muhandis and Soleimani.
On Sunday evening, a memorial service and candle lighting was held at Baghdad Airport, in which hundreds of crowd supporters participated.
Thousands of PMF supporters demonstrated in Baghdad on Saturday for the occasion, as PMF leaders repeated demands for the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country.
"As for the American occupation, you had to understand very well that this great people cannot accept the occupation," Qais al-Khazali, a leader in the Popular Mobilization and Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, one of the crowd's most influential factions, said in a speech.
"You should have understood... the messages sent to you by the heroes of the resistance in Iraq, who arrived with their weapons, drones and smart missiles... to you anywhere on the land of Iraq," he added.
"But it seems that you have not yet understood this and need other lessons, for the sons of the resistance and the sons of the mobilization ... will force you to go out, humbled, humiliated, and disappointed, as you did in 2012," he said.
Since the assassination of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis, US interests in Iraq have been targeted with missiles or drones sometimes, including the vicinity of the US embassy in Iraq, and Iraqi military bases that include forces from the international coalition, such as Ain al-Assad in the west of the country, or Erbil airport in the north.
The frequency of these attacks has decreased in the recent period, which rarely resulted in casualties, and no party claims them, but Washington attributes them to factions loyal to Iran.
Tehran responded days after Soleimani's assassination with a missile strike on the Ain al-Assad base.
advisory forces
The era of former US President Donald Trump witnessed an escalation of tension between the arch-enemies the United States and the Islamic Republic, which often emerged in Iraq, where the two countries have influence and allies. The two countries were twice on the brink of direct military confrontation, the first in June 2019 after Iran shot down a US drone that it said had penetrated its airspace, and the second time after the assassination of Soleimani.
And Iraq officially announced on the ninth of December that the presence of foreign “combat” forces in the country ended at the end of 2021 and that the new mission of the international coalition was advisory and training only, in implementation of an agreement announced for the first time in July in Washington by US President Joe Biden During the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
About 2,500 US soldiers and 1,000 coalition troops will remain in Iraq. These forces have been providing advice and training since the summer of 2020 to the Iraqi forces, while the majority of the US forces that were sent to Iraq in 2014 as part of the international coalition under President Donald Trump left the country.

And that's another reason to pray really hard.  Thanks, Shelley.

Wondering now, if this is a 2nd reason for "open borders", besides having all the illegals vote.

Our country is going right down the tubes!  Why is it that only Republicans see it?

Are Democrats too embarrassed to admit that they voted for a senile old man?  And also, that crazy people are really running the country behind the scenes, because Biden is incapable?

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, speaking on the second anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani by the United States, said that former U.S. President Donald Trump must face trial for the killing or Tehran would take revenge.

Iran and groups allied with it in Iraq and other countries have been holding events to honour Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force, the overseas arm of the elite Revolutionary Guards. He was killed in Iraq in a drone strike on Jan. 3, 2020, ordered by then President Trump.

“If Trump and (former secretary of state Mike) Pompeo are not tried in a fair court for the criminal act of assassinating General Soleimani, Muslims will take our martyr’s revenge,” Raisi said in a speech on Monday.

“The aggressor, murderer and main culprit — the then president of the United States — must be tried and judged under the (Islamic) law of retribution, and God’s ruling must be carried out against him,” Raisi added.

Under Iran’s Islamic laws, a convicted murderer can be executed unless the family of the victim agree to take “blood money” through a reconciliation.

Iranian judicial officials have communicated with authorities in nine countries after identifying 127 suspects in the case, including 74 U.S. nationals, Prosecutor-General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri told state television.

“The criminal former president (Trump) is at the top of the list,” he said.

Soleimani was killed because Iran sought to ‘blow up’ U.S. embassy: Trump – Jan 9, 2020

On Sunday, Iran urged the United Nations Security Council in a letter to hold the United States and Israel, which Tehran says was also involved in the killing, to account, Iranian media said.

Days after the assassination, the United States told the United Nations that the killing was self-defense. Former U.S. Attorney General William Barr said Trump clearly had the authority to kill Soleimani and the general was a “legitimate military target.”

Hundreds of supporters of Iran-backed militia groups gathered on Sunday at Baghdad international airport to mark the anniversary of Soleimani’s death and to chant anti-American slogans.

Two armed drones were shot down on Monday as they approached an Iraqi military base hosting U.S. forces near Baghdad’s international airport, Iraqi security sources said.

Late on Sunday, Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement seized a United Arab Emirates-flagged cargo vessel which it said was engaged in “hostile acts” but which the Saudis said was carrying hospital equipment.

In Israel on Monday, the Jerusalem Post newspaper said its website had been hacked in what it called an apparent threat to the country, with an illustration that appeared to recall Soleimani.

Once again, Iraq is losing the fruits of its diplomatic efforts by repeating the attacks of marches, especially on Baghdad International Airport, the most important state facility, which reinforces the hypothesis of settling accounts on Iraqi soil after Iran's retaliatory statements for the assassination of Sulaimani.

This is BIG $$$$$, control, manipulation creating hopelessness & fear on a global scale. We all know who the organizations, governments, & “ Families “are that continue to perpetuate this Madness.

China Has Criticized The 2020 Assassination Of General Qassem Soleimani, Iran's Counter-Terrorism Chief, As Another "War Crime" Committed By The United States.

And The Chinese (CCTV) Network Quoted In A Report Translated By "Al-Ahed News", The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Wang Wenbin, As Saying That "The Assassination Of General Soleimani Was Another Example Of How The United States Arbitrarily Undermined The Standards That Govern International Relations Based On The Charter Of The United Nations." “.

He Added, "It Is Also One Of The War Crimes Committed By The United States By The Misuse Of Force," Noting That "The United States Can Go To The Extent Of Carrying Out The Targeted Killing Of A Military Commander Of A Sovereign Country Through Terrorist Means In Violation Of International Law, As Well As Killing Hundreds Of Thousands Of Innocent Civilians In The Whole World".

The preemptive strike carried out by the international coalition forces last Tuesday against the missile launchers of the Iranian militias in Syria, sent a clear message that the United States is not about to stand by and watch what the Iranian forces are preparing for theatrtic revenge plays in which they demonstrate their capabilities to avenge the killing of Qassem Soleimani, and that they It will treat any such attempt, however showy, as posing a serious threat to US forces stationed in Syria.

Commenting on the US targeting, which is the first of its kind during the New Year, US Defense Department spokesman John Kirby said, "The Pentagon is dealing seriously with threats against coalition forces and US forces that reserve the right to defend themselves."

The Iranian militias had spent weeks preparing and preparing to receive the second anniversary of the killing of Qassem Soleimani, whether at the popular or military level. The leaders of these militias believed that commemorating the memory by carrying out "harmless" operations that ensured the continuation of the state of tension and tension without leading to a major confrontation with the United States would be the easiest scenario that could be implemented without incurring major losses. Therefore, there is no doubt that the preemptive strike carried out by the international coalition has aborted this easy scenario and left the militia leaders in a state of extreme embarrassment because it was their enemy who took the initiative and took an unexpected step against them.

After secret deliberations between the leaders of some militias, where cold-headed leaders who do not like escalation with the American side were excluded, and after limited consultation with political parties affiliated with countries concerned with the issue of confrontation with the Americans, it was decided to give the green light to some Iranian militias to carry out a "harmless operation" against The bases of the US forces in Syria can be considered as a response to the pre-emptive strike and do not require another response.

Accordingly, a group affiliated with Iran targeted, yesterday, Wednesday, Al-Omar base, which is the largest American base in the areas controlled by the "Syrian Democratic Forces", with three mortar shells, one of which landed in a helipad, while the other two shells fell in empty locations, causing material damage. Only, and the information did not record human losses, according to the "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights".

The American forces at Al-Omar base were satisfied with monitoring the site from which the missiles were launched, as it turned out that they came from a militia site in the Al-Mayadin desert, west of the Euphrates River, and targeted it with only two missiles, causing only material damage.

But the illusion of the equation that the militia leadership relied on was quickly dispelled the next day when, at dawn today, Thursday, unknown drones carried out an air strike against Iranian military sites in the al-Tabani area and Badiyat al-Masrab in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, but this time the outcome of the strike was different. Not only did it cause material damage, but it also caused deaths and injuries, according to what the "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" sources confirmed.

According to the "observatory" sources, the air targeting was preceded by explosions, which were heard in several places in the eastern Euphrates region in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, near the coalition base in the Konico gas field, and there is no information until now whether it was caused by a missile attack on the base.

Meanwhile, pro-Iranian media hastened to exploit the recent events and work to place them in the context of creating a new resistance against the American presence in Syria, citing the speech of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah about the "popular resistance" in his speech on the eve of the second anniversary of the killing. Soleimani. It seemed clear that there is an Iranian tendency to exaggerate these developments in the media and to give them loose descriptions that are not commensurate with their true size, which is nothing more than a showtime attempt for revenge and revenge.

A Lebanese newspaper close to "Hezbollah" described these developments as "the start of a war of attrition against the American forces in Syria." However, the same newspaper stressed that what it called "resistance operations" are being carried out in a lightning fashion "to avoid slipping into a direct confrontation in which it would be The over-armed American side will prevail,” in a clear acknowledgment by the newspaper that the balance of power tends to the American side in this region.

In another report, the newspaper adopted a “rumor” circulated on social media that the American forces had evacuated the Al-Tanf base for fear of new attacks that the Iranian forces intend to carry out against it. Syria, Iraq and Jordan, on the eve of the second anniversary of the assassination of the two leaders. The reason for this, according to the sources, is that "the Americans received intelligence information that their base in Al-Tanf might be attacked on the occasion," while a state of high alert was recorded in all other US bases in Syria. In confirmation of its news, the newspaper said that the "Syrian Observatory" confirmed the location of the eviction.

Referring to the “observatory” data, it became clear that he did not talk at all about the evacuation of the Al-Tanf base, but only referred to the redeployment of the international coalition forces in the base (and not outside it or even outside Syrian territory, as the report claimed) after the deployment of Iranian missile platforms in the Syrian Badia. Not far from the 55 area in the border triangle between Jordan, Syria and Iraq.

The "Maghawir al-Thawra" faction, which is allied with the United States, and its military arm guarding the al-Tanf base, had issued an official statement denying what was being circulated through the media about the withdrawal of US forces from the al-Tanf base adjacent to the Syrian-Iraqi border within the 55 area, a day before. Whoever published the newspaper report mentioned about him.

The statement stated: "The rumors circulated on social media and the media about the withdrawal of US forces from the Al-Tanf base are untrue, and that the Revolutionary Commando Army and our partners in the American forces are continuing our patrols and work in the region."

There is no doubt that Iran would have been a superpower by now had they not been enslaved by their Arab rulers. It was rich with culture, history and amazing trade.

The Persian people have beautiful hearts.

These people take a showing of restraint as a sign of weakness, something to be exploited.Only the threat of a rapid and severely painful punitive retaliation will moderate their hostile ambitions. Only when they clearly see the unbearably painful consequences of their actions will they consider non-hostile means for resolving their differences with others.

He didn't act at all like a regular passenger. Files first class, then gets into private vehicles that entered the airport thru the cargo area. Total tip off.

Losing this general would’ve been the equivalent to the United States losing general Patton during World War II. Not all generals are easily replaced by the next guy waiting to be promoted. There are corporate generals and their warrior generals.

Technology is a double edge sword. Big brother is everywhere but nowhere. It amazes me how well executed this mission was.

I have to say that this operation was brilliantly thought of. Solemani had concealed his identity perfectly. Somebody knew more than he was
Supposed to know. Even under the cover of darkness, the predator pilot knew where the target was. Bulls eys!!

Being the last to get off the plane and, Soleimani, the only one to wear a mask.....
Presented him for his demise.....and he never even knew it!!!
He was betrayed by his own!!!

Soleimani was a superb strategist (probably the best Iran and the Shias had )but an extremely poor tactician. What he lacked also was the understanding of how US clandestine operations are controlled in the field and the limitless sources they use in order to “zero” on their target. He should have seen it coming after all the numerous attempts on his life by the Israelis.
He could have postponed the inevitable for some more years at least.

Instead of “Rest In Peace”, I believe this situation changed the term to “Rest in Pieces”.

The Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abdul Aziz Al-Muhammadawi "Abu Fadak", said today, Saturday, that the "victory leaders" were at the forefront of those who responded to the fatwa of the religious reference.

Abu Fadak said, in a speech during a memorial ceremony for Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani in Basra province, that "the leaders of victory were at the forefront of those who responded to the fatwa of the religious reference," adding that "the Iraqis came out to pledge allegiance to the leaders of victory from all provinces."

He pointed out that "the nation of the Hashd is stronger than the enemies of the Popular Mobilization Forces," adding, "Thank you to Basra, the city of the martyr al-Muhandis."

This is the first time that the Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Fadak al-Muhammadawi, has risen to give a speech.

Earth News/ The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced imposing sanctions on US officials for their role in the assassination of the former commander of the "Quds Force", the martyr Qassem Soleimani, and for "spreading terrorism and violating basic human rights."

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, all the aforementioned persons “participated in decision-making, planning, organizing, financing, supporting, directing, or carrying out the terrorist act,” or supported “this heinous crime and terrorism that constitutes a threat to international peace.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed that: The American terrorist act will not affect the conduct of the martyr Qassem Soleimani's march in the fight against terrorism and terrorist groups supported by America.

It included former US President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, former CIA Director Gina Haspel, former acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, and former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, US Ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Tueller, Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Baghdad Stephen Fagin, and former Consul General in Erbil Rob Waller.

Earlier this week, the head of the Iranian judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, said that the government, the judiciary, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should use all legal possibilities to prosecute and prosecute the criminals involved in the assassination of Soleimani and his comrades in courts, international organizations, and local courts.

It is noteworthy that the former commander of the "Quds Force" Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the "Popular Mobilization Forces" Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, were martyred in an American assassination near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
