Baghdad / Al-Mawrid News, the
President of the Republic, Barham Salih, discussed with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, on Thursday, the general situation in the country, while they emphasized the protection and consolidation of stability.  
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic stated, "The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received, today, at Baghdad Palace, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi."  
During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country, emphasizing the protection and consolidation of stability, preserving the security and safety of citizens, strengthening the authority of the state and supporting the security services in pursuing terrorist cells that seek to destabilize security and stability in some cities and close loopholes.  
Emphasis was also placed on the
“importance of solidarity, national unity and support for dialogue and convergence in resolving outstanding issues, moving towards the national entitlements that await the country, focusing on citizens’ needs and improving living and service conditions, as well as the importance of easing regional tensions, and the need to secure Iraq’s stability and sovereignty and its pivotal role in Region".

Baghdad-ALSharqiya December 23: Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stressed that the absolute priority of the state is to develop plans that guarantee the rights of Iraqis to a decent life, freedom of expression, and upgrading services, and that this should be made a priority ahead of abstract political competition.
 This came during Al-Kazemi’s meeting with President Barham Salih at the Peace Palace In Baghdad,
 during the meeting, the constitutional requirements necessary after the general elections in the country were reviewed. During the meeting, the regional and international situation, which concerns Iraq and concerns its higher interests, was discussed.

Saleh and Al-Kazemi affirm the unity of the ranks and the launch towards national benefits

And his media office stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "the latter received at the Baghdad Palace, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and during the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country and emphasized the protection and consolidation of stability, preserving the security and safety of citizens, and strengthening the authority of The state and the security services’ support in pursuing terrorist cells that seek to destabilize security and stability in some cities and close loopholes.”
