Shafaq News/ The exchange rates of the US dollar rose against the Iraqi dinar, on Wednesday, on the main stock exchange in the capital, Baghdad, and in the Kurdistan Region.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the central Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad registered this morning 148000 Iraqi dinars for 100 US dollars.

Yesterday, Tuesday, prices recorded 147,900 Iraqi dinars, compared to 100 US dollars.

Our correspondent indicated that buying and selling prices have stabilized in banking shops in the local markets in Baghdad, where the selling price amounted to 148,500 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, while the purchase prices amounted to 147,500 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars.

In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the price of the dollar also increased, as the selling price amounted to 148,100 dinars per 100 US dollars, and the purchase price reached 148000 dinars per 100 US dollars.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the central Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad recorded this morning, an exchange rate of 147,950 Iraqi dinars for every 100 US dollars, indicating that the prices were recorded last Thursday 148000 dinars for every 100 dollars.

Our correspondent indicated that buying and selling prices have stabilized in banking shops in the local markets in Baghdad, where the selling price reached 148,500 dinars per $100, while the purchase prices amounted to 147,500 dinars.

In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the dollar exchange does not trade on official holidays, but the exchange shops in the local markets traded the dollar at a selling price of 148,125 dinars for every 100 dollars and a purchase price of 148,050 dinars for every 100 dollars.

Shafak News Agency correspondent said that the main stock exchange in Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya markets in Baghdad, which is specialized in trading the US dollar exchange, and wholesale gold markets in Al-Nahr Street in the center of the capital, has closed its doors today, as a result of the curfew, and the security events taking place in Baghdad and a number of provinces.

And the Iraqi authorities lifted the curfew, after they imposed it yesterday, Monday, as a result of the security events that took place in Baghdad and a number of provinces.

Today, Friday, the dollar exchange rates witnessed stability in the Iraqi Stock Exchange.
And the selling prices of the dollar were recorded at 147,900 dinars per 100 dollars, while the purchase prices of the dollar were recorded at 147,800 dinars per 100 dollars.
And the Central Bank of Iraq decided earlier to adjust the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, as the purchase price of the dollar from the Ministry of Finance amounted to 1450 dinars, and the price of selling it to banks was set at (1460) dinars per dollar, while the selling price to the citizen is (1470). dinars per dollar.
