{Political: Al Furat News} The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri regretted, today, Saturday, the violations that happened in the recent elections, stressing that he had hoped that the elections would be conducted fairly and away from fraud.

Al-Amiri said in a press conference, which was monitored by Al-Furat News: "We were stressing the need to expedite the holding of elections after the popular events, and we believed that it was a step forward, but it was not as we aspire to."

He added, "We believed that the elections would restore confidence in the political process," noting that "from the beginning, we had doubts about the devices used in the elections."

He pointed out that "the elections did not take place in the atmosphere that we aspired to," noting that "we had hoped that the examining companies would work and submit their report to the House of Representatives."

He explained that "the Commission did not submit any report to the House of Representatives regarding its organs, and it committed major violations, one of which is related to voting devices," stressing that "the Commission violated even its law in announcing the results."

Al-Amiri continued: The Commission should have handed over the results to all the candidates, but it did not abide by this thing," noting that "there is a big difference between the tapes that were given to the candidates and the announced results."

He pointed out that "more than 12 thousand ballot boxes, the results of which were not added to the election results," noting that "in all meetings with the commission, we showed our fear of electronic manipulation of results."

He concluded, "We are continuing to appeal the elections to the Federal Court."

Al-Amiri said in a press conference on “falsifying the results of the parliamentary elections with documents and evidence.” These elections did not take place in the atmosphere that he aspired to, and the fear of fraud was not a coincidence."

He added, "We had doubts from the beginning about the devices with which the elections were held," noting that "the Commission did not submit any report to the House of Representatives before its dissolution regarding the accuracy of the devices used in the electoral process, and this is the first violation in the elections."

He believed, "The commission committed a number of legal, constitutional and technical violations in holding the elections and violated its law even in announcing the results, and revealed that it represents 94 percent, but the reality represents 79 percent."

Al-Amiri added, "The commission should have handed over the results to all the candidates, but it did not abide by this... There is a wide difference in the tapes of votes that were handed over to the candidates and about announcing the results," considering what happened in the results announcement "indicating the confusion and incompetence of the Commission on conducting the electoral process.

Good morning yota and thank you for your continued service to DV…

These articles appear that Maliki and Iran haven’t given up on their quest to retain a significant voice in the government of Iraq.

I keep waiting on al-Sadr to step up and be as forceful to getting Iran out of the country as he is with getting the USA out of the country.

Sadr is ignoring them as best as he could.  Sadr will get this done.  He is not a talker.  He’s a doer.  Letting them die on the vine with their nonsense.

Hope your right and Sadr comes to the plate.

I've always thought of him as a  two faced blowhard... Hope He proves me wrong.

That’s an easy fix Laid Back….

1) Stop paying them.

2) Stop them from attending any parliament sessions.
3) Arrest the ones who are probably guilty of several crimes.

The list could continue but getting the Iranian regime out of your government should be easy. The having the “Want To” is the hard part for this bunch….
