yota691
After his call for the dissolution of the factions, Al-Sadr decides the fate of the "Promised Day Brigade" PM:05:12:19/11/2021 2960 views The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced, on Friday, the dissolution of the formation of the "Promised Day Brigade" and the closure of their headquarters, expressing his hope that this step would be the beginning of the dissolution of the armed factions. Al-Sadr said in a tweet today, (November 19, 2021), that "as a goodwill gesture from me, I (Muqtada al-Sadr) announced the dissolution of the formation of the (Promised Day Brigade) and the closure of their headquarters." He added, "Were it not for the fact that they handed over their weapons to the Peace Brigades previously, or what is now called: Brigade 313, 314 and 315 in Samarra, I would have ordered them to hand over their weapons and they would not obey, because they are still loyal to us and their homeland." And he continued, "And if it is found, they must hand it over within 48 hours, hoping that this step will be the beginning of dissolving the armed factions, handing over their weapons and closing their headquarters, but rather it will be a message of safety and peace for all the people. The brigade official must implement this decision." Yesterday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for the dissolution of all armed factions "at once" and the handing over of their weapons to the Popular Mobilization. 3 2 2
yota691
Al-Sadr renews his call to confine arms to the state Thursday 09 December 2021 229 Baghdad: morning Yesterday, Wednesday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for arms to be confined to the hands of the state, and to work seriously to disband the "uncontrolled militias." Al-Sadr said in a tweet on Twitter: "The return of terrorism represented by ISIS in the Makhmour area and the political bombings that took place in Basra, and some assassinations from here and there, foretell of the worsening political situation and their resort to violence and reminds us of the attacks on hospitals and others before the elections." He added, "This is what will drag the country and people into danger for the sake of some seats. This requires us to stress that arms are confined to the hands of the state and work hard to disband all the unruly militias that misuse weapons under the pretext of resistance or any other pretext." He continued, "It even indicates the spread of corruption and its pervasiveness in the joints of the state, and this is what increases our determination to fight corruption in all its forms, regardless of the perpetrator and whoever he belongs to." And he added, "There are no solutions to this. The government of the national majority will adopt this with full force under the cover of the law, and no one will be excluded at all," calling on the competent authorities "to find out the facts in these terrorist acts and others." 1
