Barzani: The key to ensuring our security lies in preventing any prime minister from using force to settle political problems

{Politics: Al Furat News} The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, said that "the key to ensuring our security in Kurdistan lies in establishing a system in Iraq that prevents any future prime minister from using force to settle political problems, and this implicitly means implementing the constitution."

This evening, Barzani participated in a panel discussion during the (Manama Dialogue), which was launched in the Bahraini capital, during which he touched on a number of current issues and addressed the latest developments in Iraq and the region. He also stressed the need for a common security system in which all countries in the region participate.
He said, "The Kurdistan region has become an oasis of stability, but this was not without a price, and it was not achieved without massive sacrifices."
And he indicated that all the projects of the Kurdistan Region have been implemented in recent years at 5 percent of the Iraqi budget, and he asked: "But what happened to the remaining 95 percent in Iraq?"
The Prime Minister highlighted the ongoing reforms in the Kurdistan region, noting that they need some time to see their results.
The Prime Minister addressed the issue of immigration, and indicated that it is a global phenomenon and occurs everywhere, noting that the migrants who left the Kurdistan Region and went to the border between Belarus and Poland carry visas and spent a lot of money, and did not leave because of security risks or hunger.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Kurdistan enjoys a lot of untapped or improperly exploited wealth, which can be used in setting an ambitious future vision that achieves growth and development, and it is time to start thinking about the optimal use of those resources.
He added, "The vast Middle East and Iraq are stuck in differences instead of focusing on the commonalities that unite each other."
The Prime Minister stressed the need to reformulate a new security system in the Middle East to include all countries in the region, including Iran.
Regarding the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue in Syria, the prime minister explained that: "Erbil encourages dialogue between the Kurds of Syria so that they can determine their future, but it is unfortunate that the Kurdistan Workers Party obstructs this matter because of its influence on the local authorities there."

I just can’t imagine why Saudi Arabia would not add more value to their currency in this equation.  It’s easier to do it for them considering their current wealth and military security compared to Iraq which is still developing so to speak.

Maybe its for the same reason that Iraq says it will not add value, of course thats after months and months oftease that they are...... They say it will cause inflation.
