 Baghdad: Esraa Al-Samarrai

The Director General of the General Postal and Savings Company at the Ministry, Idris Khaled Abdel Rahman, told Al-Sabah: "The achieved achievement is a qualitative leap for the Iraqi post, as it competed through the postal index by several international and Arab postal administrations," referring to the "qualitative leaps in the services provided by the post." Definite Progress...! But I couldn't find the US Postal Service standing ..!:salute:Iraq is now 26th out of 192 participating countries.

The UPU, headquartered in Berne, Switzerland, was founded in 1874 and is the world’s second oldest international organization made up of four bodies (The Congress, The Council of Administration, The Postal Operations Council, and The International Bureau). The UPU is the major venue for collaboration amongst postal sector participants, with 192 member countries.

Can’t speak to the USA rankings in the UPU ( you pee you ? - is that code for You Stink or what :lmao: ) .... the service we get in Western Arizona leaves quite a lot to be desired.
Our mail gets routed to Phoenix then back to town. It can take up to 10 days to send a letter crosstown.

Phoenix is hot as hell in the summer-120 F not uncommon. My COVID rehab was in north Phoenix called Mesa. When I was released late June it was 118 F and stifling hot as I got into the truck so my wife could drive back up into the mountains ( Grand Canyon/Flagstaff/Williams area ). It’s beautiful there just so you know.

Traffic can be a real issue during peak hours...otherwise just put your NASCAR helmet on: everyone drives like a Bat Outta Hell.
I hate big cities ( I grew up in Los Angeles ). I guess if your job is there so be it. But if U have choices outlying areas might be better for you sanity.

Best of Luck to U
