The effects of the assassination attempt on Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Iraqi Prime Minister

Dr. Raed Al-Azzawi, a professor of Iraqi international relations, said that anyone who opposes the Iranian project in the region and stands in its way in the Arab world is liable to be killed or assassinated , and we have many models in the region such as Lebanon, Syria and Yemen, explaining that Iran wants to manipulate the fates of the peoples of the region in order to Its interests only, during a telephone interview on the “A Last Word” program, which is presented by the media, Mays Al-Hadidi, and shown on the “ON” channel.

The Iranian project in the region is no less dangerous than Israel's

Al-Azzawi added that he believes that the Iranian project in the region is no less dangerous than Israel in its threat to the security of the region, explaining that the recent Iraqi elections were a surprise to those who lost them, but whoever reads the scene well knows that these elections will reveal the flaws of the armed parties and militias. Sunni political Islam receded after the fall of the Brotherhood, and so did Shiite political Islam, with the results of the recent Iraqi elections, represented in Wilayat al-Faqih. Both are two sides of the same coin.

He pointed out that the results of the Iraqi elections showed that the widespread Sadrist movement in Iraq, which represents a large segment of the simple Iraqis, was sweeping, in addition to the fact that for the first time the Sunnis returned to the fore in Iraq to restore their role in the political process as a major player in it after Iran tried to cooperate with the United States The United States is trying to break the thorns of the Sunnis in Iraq on the pretext that Saddam Hussein belongs to the Sunnis, but the truth is that Saddam's regime was totalitarian and was not Sunni or Shiite.

Saddam's regime was totalitarian, not Sunni or Shiite

He explained that the Kurds now have a political maturity in their two blocs, as rational leaders appeared among them who do not talk about secession, and they are the ones who now won the elections as well, in addition to a large segment won by the “Tishreen” martyrs movement, which sacrificed about 900 martyrs in its revolution, explaining that Al - Kazemi’s return after Elections are a popular and international demand because he is a statesman, just as Egypt was looking for a statesman and found him in President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, as well as the Iraqis are looking for a statesman who is represented in Al-Kazemi.”

This is why they tried to kill PM Al-Kazemi, because he opposes the Iranian project in the region.

Go Iraq

Go sovereignty

Go democracy
