The Sadrists are the main force in the cabinet's lineup that is expected to be assembled after the Supreme Federal Court ratifies the final results of the polls. Al-Sadr has already laid the foundations for the policies the government will pursue.

So screw Maliki and those who met with him in that house .

The prime minister's post cannot be allowed to be treated as a trophy.

Protest from the Popular Mobilization against the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plasshart

A plot by "the crooks" and it is not a loss for the crowd and those behind it
The leaders of the Shiite parties are scrambling for the dangerous position and trying to reach it at any cost
It is very important for Kurdistan President Nechirvan Barzani to participate in the administration of power in Baghdad during the current stage

The biggest mistake made by Iraqis and Kurds in particular when writing the constitution was to allow the Shiite parties to give the broad authority that is similar to the powers of the only redeemed leader in the dictatorial regimes for the position of prime minister, as he is “the direct executive responsible for the general policy of the state and the commander in chief of the armed forces... and the implementer of the draft budget and development plans.” General plans and supervising the work of ministries and agencies not affiliated with a ministry..” He appoints “deputies of ministries, ambassadors, those with special ranks, the chief of staff of the army and his assistants and those in the position of division commander and above, the head of the National Intelligence Service, and the heads of the security services,” according to what was stated in the Articles 76, 79 and 80 of the constitution, and in addition to that, he is free to dispose of state funds as he wishes. Former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stated that he took over the premiership from his predecessor, Nuri al-Maliki, "and the central treasury is empty" (six hundred million dollars! Only) after it had billions of dollars (150 billion dollars!)! The current Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, repeated the same words and stated that he had received an empty treasury from the former Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi!

That is why we find that the leaders of the Shiite parties and their armed factions are scrambling for the dangerous position and are trying to reach it at any cost and in various legal and illegal ways, as is the case of the “Al-Fatah” coalition led by Hadi Al-Amiri, which includes most of the popular crowd factions, which suffered a great loss in the early elections that It took place on the 10th of October (2021). Instead of the losing coalition members acknowledging their defeat, congratulating the winners in an elegant and democratic way, and searching for the causes of failure and ways to remedy it, they resorted to threats and threats and accused the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plasshart, of “the cronies!” They also described her, even though she was not more than 48 years old and beautiful (like the moon!) of rigging the elections and they issued threats against her and instructed their supporters to take to the street in blatant defiance of the government and its security forces and demanded that all polling stations be manually returned, but the Electoral Commission refused.

Therefore, it is necessary that the decision of the government and national forces will not be firm in the election results, the application of the law, an end to uncontrolled weapons, a solution to the crisis in accordance with the constitution, and the limitation of some of the broad powers of the Prime Minister and transferring them to the President of the Republic or the ministers in order not to establish a new dictatorship similar to the defunct Baath dictatorship!

It is very important that the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani participate in the management of power in Baghdad at the current stage, and if he is unable to take over the prime ministership because the position is for the Shiite component, then he is worthy of the position of President of the Republic, but with greater powers and broader powers to rearrange the Iraqi house again and transfer the experience The successful region to Iraq, and he is a figure acceptable to all Shiite, Sunni, regional and international parties, and he enjoys diplomatic activity and extensive professional political experience through his long-time position as prime minister and his current work as president of the region, and I am confident that the fragile relations between Baghdad and Erbil will develop into a real partnership, and be reflected This is for the benefit of Iraq and the Iraqis.

Today, Friday, the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, directed the closure of the headquarters of his "Peace Brigades" forces in all provinces, with the exception of four of them.

Al-Sadr said in a statement: "I announce, as a first step, the closure of all the headquarters of Saraya al-Salam, and their return as individuals in the Sadrist movement, and with the rest of their brothers, except for some provinces."

According to al-Sadr's statement, those provinces are: Najaf, Karbala, Salah al-Din, Samarra, and the capital, Baghdad.

He pointed out that “it is forbidden to any headquarters or carry weapons in other than the excluded governorates, but also in the holy governorates, except in coordination with the security forces, and without revealing weapons or interfering in what does not concern them,” pledging to “take another position if life survives.”

Al-Sadr's decision comes in conjunction with his party's intention to take over the presidency of the next Iraqi government, after obtaining 73 seats in the elections that took place on the tenth of next October.

Observers of the Iraqi affairs commented that al-Sadr's decision comes within the program of his government that he seeks, which is to integrate the Popular Mobilization Forces with the security forces, and end the presence of armed factions.

The writer at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Al-Fadl Ahmed, said in a comment: “Al-Sadr’s return of Saraya Al-Salam affiliates to unarmed civilians gives a clear message to the international community and the rest of the political partners of his intention to dissolve all forms of popular, clan, and Attaba rallies, with a government led by a prime minister. “My chest is scruffy.”

Al-Sadr plans to push one of his supporters to head the government after resolving differences over the election results.

The compass of nominations within the movement is directed to Jaafar al-Sadr, son of the prominent Shiite religious authority, Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, and currently holds the position of Iraq's ambassador in London, but this is still under consideration.

Al-Sadr sometimes represents a decisive factor in the prime minister’s accession to his position, through the alliances he concludes with other political parties, which are often subject to the nature of balances and understandings. .

Shafaq News/ The committee formed by the (Shiite) coordination framework is awaiting the announcement of the final results of the elections to start serious negotiations with the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr on the scenario of forming the next federal government.

A special source from the coordination framework told Shafaq News Agency, "The delegation or the committee identified by the leaders of the coordination framework to discuss with the Sadr Committee concerned with negotiating with all political blocs and alliances, determined its negotiating program to ensure the discussion of all the files presented, starting with the restoration of the Shiite house through the formation of the government and resolving disputes leading to the selection of a prime minister.

The source added, "The committee concerned with negotiating with its Sadrist counterpart will hold its meetings as soon as the final results of the elections are announced," adding that "until now, we have not received any signals or messages showing al-Sadr's position, whether by refusal or acceptance of negotiation."

The source expected that "Al-Sadr will raise the ceiling of his demands or conditions in return for restoring the Shiite house to its previous era. Some of the coordinating framework forces may be forced to join Al-Sadr according to political interests and electoral gains that those forces are looking for, and perhaps all of them will accept Sadr's controls or conditions in exchange for preserving their gains and not breaking the Shiite contract." Far from the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki."

Concerning the identity of the next prime minister, the source said, "It is not possible to speculate on his identity as long as political interests revolve in an unclear whirlpool, unless the final alliances of all political components, including the Kurdish and Sunni, are resolved. distance".

Previous information had talked about the formation of a delegation representing the coordination framework to meet with the negotiating committee of the Sadrist movement headed by Hassan Al-Adhari.

The information indicates that "the delegation's meeting with the committee will take place during the next week to calm the situation and resolve the issue of forming a government."

According to that information, "the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, or his representative, will not be in the delegation participating in the meeting with the Sadr Committee, given that the Sadrists refuse to dialogue with al-Maliki or their representatives, whether about the current situation or forming the next government."

It is noteworthy that the coordinating framework includes: the Al-Fateh Alliance led by Hadi al-Amiri, the State of Law coalition headed by Nuri al-Maliki, and the State Forces Alliance consisting of Ammar al-Hakim and Haider al-Abadi, as well as other Shiite forces that lost in the elections.

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced in mid-October his special committee to negotiate with political parties that would establish parliamentary alliances in preparation for the formation of the new federal government in Iraq.

The committee is composed of: Hassan Al-Adhari as its chairman, Nassar Al-Rubaie as first vice-chairman, Nabil Al-Tarifi as second deputy, and Hakim Al-Zamili as supporting the committee, according to a statement issued by Al-Sadr and signed by him.

The results of the recent legislative elections in Iraq showed that the Sadrist movement had won a landslide victory with more than 70 parliamentary seats, which qualifies it to obtain the position of Prime Minister and form the next federal government.

The Sunnis hold the presidency of the Iraqi parliament according to a political custom followed since the overthrow of the former Iraqi regime in 2003, while the Kurds hold the presidency, and the Shiites the prime minister.

The preacher of the Kufa mosque, Muhannad al-Moussawi, said earlier today that the goal of appointing a prime minister from the Sadrist movement to the next federal government is to achieve the reform project adopted by the movement's leader Muqtada al-Sadr.

Al-Moussawi said in the Friday prayer sermon, which was held in the Kufa Mosque, that "today we are called more than before to translate the real and systematic affiliation to deliver a practical message to all in which reassurance, love and tolerance for the advancement of reality and the country."

He added, "We are officially adopting the reform project that Al-Sadr worked on, and the Sadrist prime ministership, to translate to others the value of the approach to which we belong, with its values, ideals, and a real project for reform."

In a report on the victory of the Sadrist movement in the Iraqi elections, the American "Brookings Institution" described the strategic shrewdness, adding that the Iraqi elections gave a difficult lesson to Iran's allies that power is not sustainable.

The report called on "the United States and its European allies to reconsider how to develop strategic relations with the political actors in Iraq and focus on the protest movement, and seize the opportunity" represented by the retreat of some forces and betting on the forces of moderation that currently control a large part of the political scene, adding that an alliance This would enhance the prospects of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in obtaining another term in office.

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement indicated, on Saturday, confirmed regional interventions in the Iraqi internal affairs, calling it an "insult" to Iraq and its people.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him, seen by Shafak News Agency, "We receive confirmed news of regional interventions in the Iraqi electoral affairs and pressure on blocs and political parties for external interests that cause great harm to Iraq and its people, and from here I call on all countries with clear interventions to (withdraw their hand) immediately. ".

He added, "I also refused to engage in dialogue with them. The blocs should not resort to them and include them in our internal affairs. We are Iraqis and we solve our problems exclusively among us. Otherwise, in their interference and inclusion, it is an insult to Iraq, its people, independence, prestige and sovereignty."

Shafaq News/ The "coordinating framework" of the Shiite forces announced, on Saturday, their rejection of the preliminary results of the last early parliamentary elections that took place on October 10, considering that the manual sorting of questionable funds did not take place in accordance with the law.

In a statement received by Shafak News Agency, the framework said, "The procedures set by the Commission for manual counting and sorting emptied the process of its content by adopting electronic standards, not visual standards in manual counting."

He added that this "contradicts the election law, which affirms the adoption of the results of manual counting when appealing, not electronic standards."

The framework continued by saying, "With the commission announcing the presence of more than 700,000 unread ballot papers, the commission announced the result of 100% conformity with the presence of thousands of papers that were not read by the apparatus!! Which is a deliberate continuation of the absence of the will of the voters."

He added, "We affirm our rejection of these measures and their results," calling on the judiciary to "objectively consider all the appeals submitted, stop this deliberate waste of hundreds of thousands of votes, and conduct a comprehensive manual counting and counting according to objective criteria."

The coordinating framework consists of Shiite forces objecting to the election results, which lost many of their seats in the October 10 elections.

At the head of these forces is the Al-Fateh Alliance led by Hadi Al-Amiri, and its alliance serves as a political umbrella for influential Shiite factions with close ties to Iran.

The framework also includes the "state forces" coalition led by Ammar al-Hakim and Haider al-Abadi, in addition to the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki.

These forces object to the results of the primary elections and say they are "fabricated" and demand a recount of the votes by hand across the country.

The Electoral Commission rejects this demand and is working to recount the votes in the 2,000 stations it received complaints about out of 55,041 stations.

According to the Electoral Commission, the manual counting is 100% consistent with the electronic results in the governorates in which the manual counting and counting process has been completed.

Al-Amiri’s dismissal looms after Shiite Forces’ Coordination Framework approaches the verge of irrevocable disintegration

ReportAl-FatahHadi Al-Amiri

 2021-10-31 04:04

A-AA+

Shafaq News / The Coordination Framework is on the verge of complete disintegration, a source from inside the consortium of the Iraqi Shiite forces revealed, as the hope of a comeback from the early parliamentary elections' defeat fades with the approach of the announcements of the final results.

The Coordination Framework comprises the Shiite forces that do not recognize the October 10 election results, for many of which did not secure the number of seats they expected.

Hadi al-Amiri's al-Fatah Alliance, which serves as a political umbrella for influential Shiite factions closely linked to Iran, is at the helm of these forces.

The Alliance of National State Forces, led by Ammar al-Hakim and Haidar al-Abadi, and the State of Law Coalition, led by Nouri al-Maliki, are also parts of the Framework.

"The crack of the Coordination Framework emerged with the Electoral Commission's announcement that the results of the manual recount are consistent with the electronic results in some constituents, on which most of the losing forces relied," the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Shafaq News agency.

"The Sadrist Movement's delegation visit to meet with the National Wisdom Movement's leader Ammar al-Hakim to discuss the Sadrists' strategy in forming the next government has deepened the features of disintegration," the source said, "the Coordination Framework will disband after the announcement of the approval of the election results."

They are disappointed with the results of the primaries, calling them "fabricated," and demanding a manual recount of the ballots across the country. The Electoral Commission declined the nationwide manual recount but approved manually recounting the votes of 2,000 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from a total of 55,041 contested.

Manual counting, according to the Electoral Commission, is 100% synonymous with the electronic results in governorates where the manual counting has been completed.

On dismissing Hadi al-Amiri from al-Fatah Alliance’s presidency and replacing him by Faleh al-Fayyad, the source stated, “the proposal was put forward since the Coordination Framework's first day. The proposal has evolved into more of a recommendation that shall be implemented, with al-Amiri declaring his willingness to accept the consequences and sacrificing smaller losses to keep bigger gains in allocations, important positions, and ministerial portfolios.”

The source continued, "al-Amiri's continuance on the head of the bloc is contingent upon the failure of a Sadrist candidate to take over the government."

The allegations, according to Ali Fadlallah, spokesperson for Hezbollah's Hoquq Movement, are failed attempts to confuse the Framework's performance, "what some are pushing about the framework's collapse are failed attempts to mislead its performance, which renews its commitment to the right to manually recount all EVMs in the country.”

On the other hand, Regulators such as the United Nations and the European Union has recognized Iraq's election. In contrast, the losing groups and factions had threatened to resort to violence if the announced results were adopted, prompting fears of extensive internal warfare.
