Later Rod Evans would be replaced by Ian Gillan and  Nick Simper by Roger Glover and that will be the steady and classic DP lineup for many years and many albums before changing again.....

This lineup then crumbled after a few years mainly because there was a bad fight  going on for quite some time between vocalist Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore ( acknowledged by many as a great guitarist but also known for being crazy like a horse)  They had gotten to the point of beating each other in a few occasions........
