 Baghdad: Abdul Rahman Ibrahim

A new blow was dealt to the leadership of ISIS terrorist gangs, after luring the deputy terrorist Abu Bakr "Al-Baghdadi" from outside the country into a tight trap implemented by the intelligence service. The operation to overthrow this terrorist was announced by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi through a tweet he posted on the social networking site "Twitter", explaining that "at a time when the eyes of our heroes in the security forces were vigilant to protect the elections, their authentic arm in the intelligence service was carrying out one of the most difficult intelligence operations outside the borders." ". Al-Kazemi added that the operation resulted in the "arrest of the so-called Sami Jassim, the financial supervisor of the terrorist gangs of ISIS, and the deputy of the graveyard, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi." The criminal is considered one of the most wanted internationally, and is close to the authorized committee to manage gangs and is close to the current gang leader, the criminal Abdullah Qardash.
Sources revealed to the media that the terrorist was present in one of the largest European countries, and Iraqi officers were able to communicate with him by presenting themselves as refugees, and he was persuaded to work together to revive gangs in Iraq. As a result of this communication, he was lured to an area close to the Iraqi-Syrian border, so that they illusion that they will go towards Iraq, to begin implementing their joint plan, as a group of Iraqi intelligence officers were waiting for him, to be arrested.

The bag he’s wearing is a definite improvement on his looks.

It’s a fashion statement. Watch and see, everyone will be wearing them now while walking into walls.

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The US Department of Defense (the Pentagon) on Tuesday commented on the arrest of the deputy leader of ISIS, Sami Jassim Muhammad al-Jubouri, noting that the organization still poses a threat to Iraqis.

"Washington will continue to support the Iraqi government to ensure that ISIS does not return," Pentagon spokeswoman Jessica McNulty told Al Arabiya.

"ISIS still poses a threat to Iraqis," she added.

McNulty indicated that the international coalition led by Washington will remain in Iraq at the invitation of the Iraqi government to ensure that ISIS does not return.

Sami al-Jubouri is the financial supervisor of ISIS and the deputy of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a long-time member of al-Qaeda in Iraq. He played an active role in managing the financial affairs of ISIS operations.

Al-Jubouri served as ISIS “deputy” in southern Mosul in 2014. He served as ISIS’s “finance minister” and oversaw the group’s revenue-generating operations from illicit sales of oil, gas, antiquities, and minerals.

In September 2015, the US Treasury placed him on its "global terrorist" list, and in August 2019, Washington announced a reward of $5 million for information revealing his location.
