A source close to the atmosphere of the backroom negotiations of the political forces expressed great confidence that Muqtada al-Sadr and Nuri al-Maliki will spoil each other's chance of winning the position of prime minister.

The source said that al-Sadr, as the winner of the largest number of parliamentary seats, will not accept in any way al-Maliki as prime minister for a third term. The source expected that the current bazaar of negotiation and bargaining would be subject to the same conditions that were associated with the issue of forming previous governments, pointing to consensus, bargaining and negotiation between the political parties.

Shafaq News/ The preacher of the Kufa mosque, Kazem al-Husseini, announced on Friday that the Sadrist movement, which won first place in the parliamentary elections that took place this October, is "close to forming a national government" in Iraq.

Al-Husseini said in the Friday prayer sermon at the Kufa mosque that "the Sadrists are around the corner from forming a national government that has no importance other than saving Iraq from the clutches of ruin and corruption, and many of them know that."

He believed that "change for the better is possible if the Sadrist bloc forms the next government, because positive change is impossible with others, and a ruling experience that spanned 18 years attests to this, but unfortunately they still prefer silence, and that many of them are deceived by the media's extensive propaganda and falsified lies, which let Halim baffled."

The head of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sayyid Muhammad al-Sadr, stressed not to interfere in the work of the judiciary or put pressure on the Independent Electoral Commission, noting that contentment with the electronic results will bring security and stability to Iraq and its people.

Al-Sadr said in an official statement issued today, Saturday: “The Independent Electoral Commission or the judiciary and the Federal Court should not be pressured or interfere with its work,” adding: “Rather, a calm atmosphere must be created for the commission to complete its procedures regarding appeals or the like.”

Al-Sadr pointed out that "dragging the country into chaos and destabilizing civil peace because of their lack of conviction in their electoral results is a shameful matter that complicates the political scene and the security situation," continuing: "It also gives a negative perception of them."

The head of the Sadrist bloc explained: "Let everyone know that being satisfied with the electronic results will harm Iraq and its people with security and stability, and it is qualified for that."

Last Wednesday, the Iraqi "Al-Fatah" coalition called on protesters against the results of the parliamentary elections to adhere to peace and avoid blocking roads.

The head of the Iraqi Al-Fateh Alliance , Hadi Al-Amiri, appealed to the High Elections Commission to seriously consider all the appeals submitted about the results of the primary elections, which witnessed a great loss for the coalition that led the last elections.

Al-Sadr said in a blog post, followed by "Nass" (October 23, 2021), that "the Security Council's support for the results of the Iraqi elections and the adoption of their integrity, but rather to say that they exceeded their previous technically, reflects a beautiful image of Iraqi democracy on the one hand, and gives hope for the acquiescence of the parties claiming fraud in those elections." On the other hand, the democratic process .

He added that "dragging the country into chaos and destabilizing civil peace due to their lack of conviction in their electoral results is a shameful matter that complicates the political scene and the security situation, but rather gives a negative perception of them, and this should not be increased and repeated."

A statement from the Islamic Dawa Party on the election results

Baghdad - people

On Saturday, the Dawa Party announced the necessity of resorting to the constitution and the law in all cases, including objecting to the elections.

The party stated in a statement that “Nass” received a copy of it (October 23, 2021), that “the Islamic nation celebrates these days an auspicious occasion in which humanity moved to a new stage in which prophecy was sealed, and its light was shed on the world with the birth of the greatest messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, which It coincides with the birth of his grandson, Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and the sixty-sixth anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Dawa Party, which traversed its path and followed the path of the rememberer, the greatest Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the approach of Imam Jaafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.

The statement added that "celebrating the birth of the Messenger of Humanity, who bore the burden of the message and conveyed it, the completion of the communication is an opportunity for Muslims to unite and follow his guidance and to follow a common word in word and deed for the sake of the Islamic nation and the future of its generations away from extremism that Islamic peoples have endured many losses and provided thousands of victims as a result of the takfiri approach." The extremism that produced the terrorism that we are suffering from now, and which Western arrogant circles have taken as a pretext to weaken Muslims, keep them away from their religion, and distort its principles and tolerant foundations upon which it was founded.

The statement stated that “Muslims, but humanity as a whole, are called to benefit from the abundance of the message that was revealed to the Messenger of humanity, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and to resort to his fragrant biography and his eternal and principled stances that radiate mercy, light and good tidings to the worlds, which were later embodied by his grandson, Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, who founded a school of thought. It spread its splendor over the entire Islamic nation after it cleared out the deviation that was attached to it and re-founded the structure of the Islamic message on the rules that were brought by his grandfather, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, pure, sweet and clear, to be a beacon for those who come after him from the generations of Muslims until God inherits the earth and those on it. .

He continued, "Walking on the path of the two auspicious births, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him. The Islamic Dawa Party was founded by their grandson, the martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, may God Almighty be pleased with him, along with a group of believers who adopted Islamic causes and carried the nation’s concerns and what it suffered in a historical stage. The features of Islam in it almost disappeared and were cast outside the accounts of society, history and politics, so this blessed establishment was to be the renaissance that removed doubts and the revolution that broke down obstacles and brought life back to Islam in a fresh and bright way, able to continue the path ably despite all the opposing and opposite ideas and projects, whether eastern or western, and continued with all The devotion of its Islamic project, and it fought the most severe dictatorship, and made the great sacrifices that were made, led by the happy martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and the heroic convoys of the righteous martyrs who believed what they promised God.The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and his grandson, Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.”

He also stressed that "the preachers are still continuing their path with strength and power in the service of Iraq, the causes of all Muslims, and the concerns of all humanity, and they will not deviate from this path, and their feet will not stray from the right path, with the help of God Almighty, no matter what the obstacles and difficulties are.

He pointed out that "the Islamic Dawa Party, while congratulating the Islamic nation on these auspicious occasions, pledges to the Iraqi people to move forward with its approach, which has become clear to all, and works with all its might for a free and dignified life in which Iraqis live in freedom and security, and that they will not spare effort to achieve that."

He explained that "Iraq, in this complex time segment, needs a conscious leadership and a rational government that provides services to the people, all the people, without hegemony or exclusivity of one group over another and giving priority to narrow interests over the public interest and without a group controlling people's necks and controlling them and confiscating and suppressing their freedoms that they obtained through sacrifices." The big one."

The Dawa Party also called for "responding to the constitution and the law in all cases, including objecting to the elections. It also calls for a review of mistakes and loopholes through which citizens' votes can be confiscated, whether through technology or through outrageous behavior on the ground, and that its approach is to preserve the gains." Which was achieved after the fall of the tyrant, and he will not abandon his masses who trusted him and voted for him in the last elections, and he will be with them and among them and with them always and forever, and this is his way and his approach that he will not abandon.
