yota691
Parliament rules out holding the parliament session tomorrow 2021-09-19 08:50 Shafaq News/ Member of the Iraqi Parliament, Nada Shaker Jawdat, confirmed on Sunday the difficulty of holding the parliament session for tomorrow, Monday, while explaining the reason for this. Jawdat told Shafaq News Agency, "There is a great difficulty in Parliament holding its session for tomorrow, Monday, due to the preoccupation of the majority of parliamentarians and even the presidency of the Council in their electoral campaigns and their blocs." And she indicated that "this prevents the achievement of a quorum to pass the important laws on the agenda, and there are influential forces working to continue disrupting Parliament to prevent the activation of ministers' interrogation files because these ministers have political protection from these forces." Jawdat added that "the Iraqi voter must monitor the representatives who do not attend parliament sessions, and are a reason for disrupting the legislative and oversight work of Parliament, so as not to repeat their selection again. The duty of the representative is to work under the dome of Parliament and not promote himself as a candidate or promote his bloc." It is hoped that the House of Representatives will hold its session tomorrow, Monday, to vote on a number of important laws, as well as host ministers and government officials to discuss files of great importance, most notably the security file. 4

They should have a committee of about 9 people and maybe they could actually govern, would save a ton of money to boot. 1
