Shafaq News/ Member of the Iraqi Parliament, Nada Shaker Jawdat, confirmed on Sunday the difficulty of holding the parliament session for tomorrow, Monday, while explaining the reason for this.

Jawdat told Shafaq News Agency, "There is a great difficulty in Parliament holding its session for tomorrow, Monday, due to the preoccupation of the majority of parliamentarians and even the presidency of the Council in their electoral campaigns and their blocs."

And she indicated that "this prevents the achievement of a quorum to pass the important laws on the agenda, and there are influential forces working to continue disrupting Parliament to prevent the activation of ministers' interrogation files because these ministers have political protection from these forces."

Jawdat added that "the Iraqi voter must monitor the representatives who do not attend parliament sessions, and are a reason for disrupting the legislative and oversight work of Parliament, so as not to repeat their selection again. The duty of the representative is to work under the dome of Parliament and not promote himself as a candidate or promote his bloc."

It is hoped that the House of Representatives will hold its session tomorrow, Monday, to vote on a number of important laws, as well as host ministers and government officials to discuss files of great importance, most notably the security file.

That is the most ridiculous excuse ever!  We as your leaders are to

busy to help our beloved citizens even though we just got off of a

long vacation and do not show up at all.  But vote for us.

Good morning Yota and DV  :D

Thank you for posting this. My post would have been similar except it would have been LOADED with explosive expletives at these feckless monkeys. More to the point, it probably would have gotten me kicked right outta here.

It took me a while and so glad no-one was around.  The things that came out of my mouth

were so bad that I could actually smell the dial soap that my mom use to wash our mouths out with

for bad words.

Sorry Mom  :)

Baghdad - Mawazine News

The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Bashir Al-Haddad, announced, on Monday, the postponement of today's session to a date to be determined later.

Al-Haddad had announced earlier in the day that the session had been postponed for one hour due to the lack of a quorum to hold it, while a number of deputies had expected it to be postponed.

Parliamentary sources attributed the postponement of the session to the preoccupation of the remaining deputies who were absent from today's session with electoral campaigns. Ended 29/R77
