US consumer inflation expectations hit 8-year high

A survey published by the Federal Reserve Board in New York showed today, Monday, that the expectations of American consumers of the size of the change in inflation over the next year and the next three years rose last month to the highest levels since 2013.
Inflation expectations for the next year increased for the tenth month in a row to 5.2 percent on average, according to the monthly survey of consumer expectations.
Inflation expectations for the next three years rose to an average of 4.0 percent. Both numbers are the highest since the survey began in 2013.

You know President Trump wrote a Proclamation stating that September is "Preparedness Month" I would take heed to this. Inflation is not going away as long as this administration is in control.  Pandemic, and mandates will add to the shortage of supply. Take September serious.
