{Political: Al-Furat News} The Iranian Foreign Ministry described the talks that took place between Iran and Iraq during Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's visit to Tehran yesterday as "very good."

In his weekly press conference, today, Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Khatib Zadeh said, "In the Iraqi Prime Minister's visit, many issues were discussed, describing the talks as very good."

"We discussed many economic, commercial files and joint projects, such as the Basra-Shalamcheh railway, and oil and gas," he added.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed that the number of Iranian visitors to the Arbaeen visit was doubled to 60,000, revealing an understanding with the Iraqi government to increase this number.

Zadeh indicated that "in the initial agreements between the two countries, an understanding was reached to send 30,000 visitors from Iran to Iraq for the fortieth visit, adding that this number was doubled by order of the Prime Minister of Iraq before his visit to Iran," stressing that "the issue was discussed and we reached an understanding that it should be added to this number. As many as possible, several thousand.

Regarding the cancellation of the visa between the two countries, he said that the Iranian Cabinet approved the cancellation of the visa, provided that a similar decision was taken by Iraq, noting that "in the visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the cancellation of the visa was approved for visits that take place from the airports, and the necessary arrangements will be made for that in the coming days."

Shafaq News/ The head of the Iranian-Iraqi Joint Chamber of Commerce, Yahya Al Ishaq, said on Monday that the development of relations between the two countries is more important than the problem of Iranian funds held in Iraq, stressing that "there is no cause for concern."

And the website "Khabar Online" quoted Al Ishaq as saying, "Agreements are being reached regarding Iran's funds withheld in Iraq and cooperation is underway," explaining that "there does not seem to be cause for concern about this matter and the development of relations between the two countries is more important than this problem."

On the Iraqi Prime Minister's visit to Iran, the head of the Iranian-Iraqi Joint Chamber of Commerce said, "The visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister to Iran with 7 ministers indicates its importance," noting that "the Iraqi Prime Minister is the first foreign political figure to visit Iran under the new government, We will certainly achieve good results in this regard."

Al Ishaq pointed out that "Iranian-Iraqi relations are based on a long-term strategy," noting that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries in the past ranged between 3 and 7 billion dollars, while it could reach in the future to between 20 to 30 billion dollars. The head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce noted that "on this trip, we can also solve important issues related to political and security issues," and in general, this trip is a good opportunity for Iran and Iraq.

Regarding the frozen Iranian funds in Iraq, he said that "there is a possibility of making progress on the issue of frozen funds." What we have in Iraq is mostly related to the oil and energy sectors, and our private sector receives its money from Iraq. Agreements have been reached on cryptocurrencies and the interaction is underway, so there doesn't seem to be much to worry about. But the development of relations between the two countries is more important than this issue.

In response to a question about Iraq's debts to Iranian contractors who implement technical and engineering projects in this country, he said: "Regarding the projects carried out by Iranian contractors in Iraq, there have sometimes appeared against the background of the financial difficulties experienced by this country, problems with payment and our contractors. Creditors, but that's not a big deal. Recovering private sector funds doesn't face any specific obstacles.Iraqis accept the debt in this case, but they need a little government support to get the necessary advice.

We see here that money motivates even the most stubborn and evil.  Iranian government won’t eat out of the hand of US but will from their own kind, and that’s fine.  They will all prosper here together and spend eternity together.  BTW, this will benefit all here who hold the Iranian Rial in my opinion.

I forgot I have me Iranian Rial, thanks for reminding me.
