but this is Al-kazemi we are talking about. Al-kazemi said " until it is completed within 5 years.”  can we believe what Al-kazemi said? do you believe what Al-kazemi said, don't you? do you think Al-kazemi only talk talk talk like the rest of them? do you think Al-kazemi said that" until it is completed within 5 years ”  because he wants to win iraqi citizens's heart in order to win the election and become a new PM for the second term?

And his media office stated, in a statement, that "the Prime Minister chaired the meeting of the Higher Committee for Reform." The statement quoted Al-Kazemi as saying: "Since we launched the reform white paper to address the rampant corruption in the country, we are working to create an appropriate atmosphere for its application," noting that "the meeting is to announce the start of implementing the administrative and executive mechanisms for the economic reform plan within the white paper." He added, "We aspire to restore the country's economy to its strength after the situation reached very low levels as a result of rampant corruption," stressing that "this plan would rebuild the Iraqi economy in a proper manner, achieving sustainable development for the country." due to the chronic management crisis of the economy, which is represented by complete dependence on oil, and the lack of diversification of sources of income. We want to prove to the Iraqis that we are serious about reform. Therefore, the economic management plan was not short-term, nor was it immediate, but rather aimed at an integrated reform until it is completed within 5 years.”

BAGHDAD, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced today,
Monday, the launch of a "signal of start" for the administrative and executive mechanisms of
what is known as the reform "white paper" in his country, a strategy set by his government to
.advance the faltering economic reality Al-Kazemi said in a tweet through his official account on the social networking site (Twitter) that
the launch of the start signal comes within the framework of his promises that reform will be Iraq’s “road map” for the next stages, stressing that today he fulfills those promises “despite the ”.challenges
Earlier today, Al-Kazemi chaired a special meeting of the Supreme Committee for Reform and expressed, according to a government statement, his hope that the (white paper) would contribute to restoring Iraq's economy to its strength, after the situation reached levels ".described as "very low as a result of rampant corruption
He believed that the plan (white paper) would "rebuild the Iraqi economy in a sound manner that achieves sustainable development for the country and provides a solution to the chronic
economic management crisis, which is represented by complete dependence on oil and the lack ".of diversification of income sources
He revealed that the "damage" to the Iraqi economy is "very large" and for this reason it is
"impossible" to implement the reform plan "in a short time" and whoever promises to do so is ."delusional" in his opinion
The (white paper) represents a strategic plan developed by the Al-Kazemi government last October to serve as a "road map" to address the accumulated economic crises in the country and develop the necessary solutions to achieve financial reform, improve the performance of financial institutions, and restructure the Iraqi economy in a way that qualifies it to face the upcoming challenges. Al-K may start it but if the new PM doesn't continue and push it, we are back to square one.

at this point in time, if they would go international and RV'ed at 1 cent, I'd be gone. I am totally sick of Iraq and it's 7th century attitude....

We can only wait and see until the election is done in october and new PM is elected. After that, we will know who is going to be the new PM. I still hope it will rv between 10 cents to 1 buck. Who knows.

 Morning: Suha Sheikhly
The food basket project issued by the Council of Ministers came to help the head of the family bear the burden of living, meet the need for foodstuffs, and support the Iraqi family's economy after the decision to devalue the currency confused many of its joints.
About what the food basket achieves for the family economy, he spoke to (Al-Sabah), the economist Bassem Jamil Antoine, who said: What was mentioned in the (white paper) for the economic reform process includes the inclusion of the poor classes with some support that enhances their capabilities after their purchasing power decreased due to the decision to devalue the currency and exploit some Parasitic classes on business envelope and raise prices.

budget deficit
He added that {the government addressed this decline, as promised in the white paper, and expanded the social protection network and the ration quota by adding the food basket, and that the high oil price enables the state to support the poor classes and reduce the budget deficit}, pointing out that {the radical solution is to create job opportunities for family members. The unemployed increases the family’s income, raises its standard of living, reduces poverty rates in society, encourages productive sectors to generate income, and replaces local labor in place of foreign workers.
He pointed out that {after increasing the family's income, it will dispense with the ration quota and the protection network, after we raise the family's economy to levels that enable it to rely on the financial revenue it obtains and suffices it from the ration card and protection.
Social}.

family economy
The Director of the Market Research and Consumer Protection Center, Dr. Yahya Kamal Al-Bayati, stressed {the need to adopt a mechanism that ensures the distribution of the food basket on a regular basis, and here the Ministry of Commerce is required to show that this basket is monthly in order to know and maintain the stability of the market on which the family economy depends.”
He praised this step that supports the family’s economy, and that any food items obtained by the Iraqi individual enhance the level of the family’s economy, and this step is one of the advantages that are calculated for the benefit of the Ministry of Trade. The trader will know that the distribution is not fixed and will keep its high prices. We do not want it to be a grant or a gift, but rather a continuous monthly basket.

positive role
He stressed that the seven items included in the food basket will limit the rise in local market prices, whose graph is gradually rising, and this trend will have a positive role to support the Iraqi family, hoping that this process will be managed in a discreet manner by the ministry so that we can control
on commercial markets.
He pointed out that the basket
If distributed for the next month, the prices of most foodstuffs that have been witnessed will fall

Baghdad - IQ

A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmed Hama, said on Friday (August 6, 2021) that the draft law on the country's general federal budget for the year 2022 will be related to the implementation of the white paper announced by the government for economic reform.

Hama stated , to  IQ News , that "legislating the 2020 budget law was very difficult due to the financial crisis, and while the 2021 budget was compensatory, the 2022 budget bill will be a practical application of the white paper."

And he added, "The preparation of the draft budget 2022 by the Ministry of Finance will be in accordance with the terms of the white paper," noting that "there is difficulty in passing the draft law during the last months of this year in the event that early elections are held."

He added that "if the bill is delayed, the government will resort to using the Financial Management Law by disbursing 1/12 of the actual current expenditures, in order to bypass the problem of counting its approval."

And last Monday, (August 2, 2021), Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced the start of implementing the mechanisms of the economic reform plan within the white paper, which he saw that “this plan would rebuild the Iraqi economy in a healthy manner, achieving sustainable development for the country, and the reform plan would provide a solution.” The chronic economic management crisis, which is represented by complete dependence on oil, and the lack of diversification of sources of income.
