, the Governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Ghaleb Mukhif, stressed today, Wednesday, the necessity of the project to localize salaries and electronic operations during a lecture at the Defense University for higher military studies.
And the central bank said in a statement received by the “National News Center”, that “the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb, gave a lecture at the Defense University for Higher Military Studies,” noting that “the lecture included a definition of the tasks, work and objectives of the central bank, during which the governor spoke, in the presence of elite From university professors and a number of officials of state ministries, about the monetary policy followed by the Central Bank and its tools. The Governor also addressed the initiatives launched by the Central Bank of Iraq and their direct effects in supporting and stabilizing the economic and financial situation in light of the Corona pandemic and the challenges facing public finance, as his initiatives were assigned in Lending to small and medium enterprises for the real sector that has been affected by crises and challenges.
He added, "Frightening, he touched on the Central Bank's procedures in developing the banking sector and correcting some of the approved methodologies, and emphasized the project to localize salaries and other electronic operations that pertain to the work of the banking sector."
For his part, the President of the University and the Dean of the Defense College for Higher Military Studies gave thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank for accepting the invitation to visit and the information contained in the lecture in a way that serves the Iraqi economy.
