And the government statement, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated that "the meeting witnessed a discussion of ways to develop bilateral relations between Iraq and Britain, in the fields of economy, investment, culture, and confronting the effects of climate change." During his meeting with Bryson on the occasion of his assumption of his duties as the United Kingdom's ambassador in Baghdad, Al-Kazemi stressed the importance of the international community's support for Iraq in its response to the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS, and to prevent it from threatening security and peace in the region. For his part, the British ambassador affirmed the British government's support for Iraq's efforts in the path of regional security and calm, and its playing a supportive and consolidating role for peace and sustainable development among the countries of the Middle East. The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi received the British ambassador to Iraq, Mark Bryson, on the occasion of assuming his duties as the United Kingdom's ambassador in Baghdad." The statement added, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of ways to develop bilateral relations between Iraq and Britain, in the fields of economy, investment, culture, and facing the effects of climate change." Al-Kazemi stressed, during the meeting, "the importance of the international community's support for Iraq in confronting the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS, and preventing it from threatening security and peace in the region."
