No country can cover itself by tarnishing another country. In order to prove itself transparent and responsible, the US must start with these four things," Zhao said in an official statement quoted by VIVA Military, Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Zhao said that America should first publish and review data on the initial cases that hit Virginia, then an outbreak called EVALI that hit Wisconsin and a pneumonia outbreak that hit two retired army dormitories near the Fort Detrick military base in July 2019, as well as an outbreak of lung disease. vaping-related lung disease doubled in Maryland in September 2019.

"The US CDC director publicly acknowledged last year that several patients, presumed dead from the flu, tested positive for Corona Virus in postmortem diagnoses. Then China challenged America to bring in experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) to investigate the Fort Detrick military base and also inspect more than 200 American laboratories abroad.

The international community and the American public have long raised concerns about the illegal, obscure and unsafe activities at Fort Detrick. Formerly, Fort Detrick was the centerpiece of the U.S. biological weapons program from 1943 to 1969. Since that program was discontinued, it has served as the headquarters for many elements of the U.S. biological defense program under the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC).
