I dont know why you guys think the hcl is somehow tied to raising the value....Two different things.

I’m not sure you are correct, almost every arrival I take the time to read concerning the HCL contains specific words addressing money sharing within the country of Iraq. On top of that, it seams as though Iraq has done everything else it needs to to go international with a few exception like joining the WTO. Something is holding this up and it’s not stability though it very well could be the money laundering through the auctions. The HCL seems like the next box to check off in a long list of milestones in this investment and you very well might be right, but none of this makes any reasonable sense so why not watch for it to happen 🤷‍♂️
What sign are you looking for, if you don’t mind me asking( said with nothing but respect).
GO RI/RV!!!

Cause our Boss, our Leader, the Head Honcho, the BIg Guy from Greenbay, (in case anyone has forgotten that his name is Adam) told us that it is very important, and that is good enough for me. 👍

My understanding (and I do use that term pretty loosely) is that, while not *impossible* at all, the CBI would be reluctant to make any substantial adjustments to the IQD, in our favor, without an HCL passed and implemented, to further demonstrate national political stability and consistency of vision.

Now, conversely, they aren't *required* to revalue the IQD at some specified time after an HCL is passed and implemented. However, the thinking/belief is that an HCL is really the last major political/policy/governmental "obstacle" or "objective" to be accomplished and that an RV afterwards would then mainly be based on external financial considerations.

Bottom line, I don't assume an RV will ever actually occur, until I see that they've actually managed to bring the HCL to a basic parliamentary vote (they haven't even been able to do that yet), pass or fail. If they actually manage to get the National Oil and Gas law up for a full vote, then I'll start to lose a little sleep at night.

Until then? I just just check back here every week or two, to see if something interesting along those lines has taken place.

I personally feel that there's no special article that will come out to let us know it's about to happen. I stop looking for one. I remain positive & sometimes frustrated. I hope this fall/winter this will be behind us.

Agreed 150% Dre!  They are NOT going to let you, me or mohammed down the street know that the Dinar will remove the 0’s. Talk about a RUN on the banks! You have to step back, remove your emotions and look at it through a completely different set of lenses.... read between the lines..so to speak.  What I see beyond the doom and gloom BS “mainstream” news is a HUGE amount of progress that continues even while the can is “supposedly” kicked down the road. If you can do that you will see the rainbow and not the rain.

Praise God🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻!  He’s in control!❤️
Be blessed!

But I love the rain. It's smells good and is so refreshing. But the rainbow is pretty too.

 to vote.
In a statement to "Al-Sabah", he said, "The Information Crimes Law is one of the important laws that, had it been enacted, would have curbed the electronic crime that has spread greatly, but it is unfortunate that the law was not voted on due to the lack of sessions."
He added, "The committee worked on this law for 3 years and matured it well, after taking the opinions of the specialists, but it is unfortunate that it was not approved during this session, so it will be deported to the next session," expressing his hope that "there will be close sessions to be put forward." Economy News - Baghdad

The Parliamentary Economic Committee confirmed that the new parliamentary session will witness the adoption of economic laws that contribute to supporting the local product, revealing that the law of partnership between the two sectors has been transferred, despite government calls for its approval.

A member of the committee, Nofal al-Nas`ah, said in statements followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "one of the most important laws that will have priority in the new parliamentary session is the law of partnership between the private and public sectors, in order to organize the work of companies and classify them as an initial step to know their size in terms of efficiency."

He pointed out that "there are other laws that will be deported because they were " chained " by  decisions that impeded their passage.

He added that "the Iraqi human capabilities are able to complete large projects," stressing that "most economic laws called for relying on local expertise after it has been refined through its participation with sober international companies operating in Iraq."

He explained that "promoting and evaluating the local industry and relying on its experience contributes to the development of the country industrially and provides a large cash block inside the local area, noting that "his committee developed an assessment of the economic situation by following up on government plans and budgets, to determine the percentages of achievement for all ministries."

The Prime Minister’s advisor for financial affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, had confirmed, “The government is facing a legislative obstacle that is not approving the partnership law between the private and public sectors, because there is a dispute over it in Parliament,” expressing his hope that “these differences will be resolved in the service of the country’s economy.”
