Does Iraq moving to Crypto change RV?

Read a thread that spoke of Iraq bank accounts opened/accessible by Iraqi's at there home which sounds digital.  In the event Iraq switches to digital currency... how would that play out with our paper IQD and a potential exchange with or without an RV?

great question. I guess Iraq hasn't released that info yet. Probably hasn't thought that far ahead. Since the IQD isn't international, no bank outside Iraq won't touch it.

My thought process says what the difference, if your check is direct deposit and you go around paying bills or buying items with a card, what the difference beside the wording...

Direct deposit and cards are electronic, not necessarily digital the way cryptocurrencies are.  Blockchain, that's the difference.

Exactly. If I want to buy items from Amazon, I link my CC, press buy and in a few days, I get my items. If I use my Amazon CC, I earn rewards, and later use the rewards to buy more stuff. I did that without cash.

We are setup to be cashless society based on “Monopoly money”. Now bridging that with crypto may not be as tricky since crypto/stock traders are already doing it. Obviously there will be fees which I’m sure banks will want some of that action, as well as having new millionaire customers….something like that.
