nstoolman1
We really need fewer school boards that are embracing these stupid woke ideas. Get back to teaching the basics and throw in some honest history. 2
Shabibilicious
People should teach their children at home to treat each and every person equally, sans skin color.....It's not the school systems responsibility to raise a child.....responsible parent(s), guardian(s) must do that. As always, just my opinion. GO RV, then BV

GO RV, then BV That is correct but when the schools don't reinforce that teaching or allow lawlessness to occur it just makes it harder at home. Kids are away at school for up to 8 hours a day. That makes for a lot of bad influence to be learned and then come home. Unless parents are firm and set in their beliefs there is a lot of confusion and pain. We homeschooled our 2 daughters. Our belief was to teach at home and when they became adults they could decide which path they took. Good or bad. So far all is good. Both married, have jobs. Pryor to that no drug issues or pregnancies. We put it in Gods hand and He delivered.

Pryor to that no drug issues or pregnancies. We put it in Gods hand and He delivered. That's a great success story. I personally have no issues with people who homeschool, as their children tend to be very intelligent and quite book smart. Sadly, most people don't have the means monetarily to be able to afford to have only one parent working, of course, all contingent on what part of the country they live in. Honestly the only problem I ever encountered with a home schooled kid was when I coached little league baseball. That particular boy struggled with the social environment that comes with a team sport and how to negotiate the differing attitudes of other children. He was a good ball player though, his granddad taught him well, almost to the point that he struggled to listen to the coaches and would rather defer to what he was taught at home, when it was just him and gramps, as opposed to an actual game with eight other teammates. GO RV, then BV Parent's need to have God in their lives in order to be Godly examples for their children, after all God is about love, kindness, compassion, charity and so much more. Why would we go astray, unfortunately parents are fighting a battle and evil is strong right now. We all know once God is taken away, the family unit sufferers in return society becomes the babysitter..now we are here. Pray for strong family units, strong parents and our children and our future children. 2 1
