Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Transport announced the raising of the Iraqi flag over the Iraqi tankers Al-Qurna and Al-Asma’i, after lifting the sanctions imposed on Iraq in the nineties of the last century on all marine tankers.

And Transport Minister Nasser Al-Shibli indicated, during a press conference held in Umm Qasr ports, that long discussions took place to achieve ways to comply with the International Ship and Port Security Code (ISPS code), during which the sanctions imposed on Iraqi shipping carriers during the 1990s were lifted after the approval of international maritime organizations. The Iraqi flag was hoisted high on the Iraqi conveyors.

Al-Shibli added that the two tankers, Al-Asma’i and Al-Qurna, owned by the General Company for Maritime Transport, were transferred from the Jordanian registration port to the registration port in Basra, and the Iraqi flag was raised on them after the completion of docking and maintenance, and the tanker’s validity for commercial work, which is documented by international certificates that are binding for commercial work and according to the requirements of the flag state (Iraq).

Money vs. corruption: those who think this dinar won't RV have a problem: While there is obviously lots of corruption in Iraq, there is an opposite force: economic progress is embedded into the system because the very thing that makes things corrupt, ie oil money, it also has an incentive built in into it, not only for corruption, but the oil money incentive is built into the dinar, for international trade. That's a corresponding force, to corruption.

The RV? It's eventually unstoppable....although Iraq must hold the world record now, for the most push back, against the inevitable...lol...What happens over the long run is that the need for trade and exchanging currency eventually overwhelms the incentive for corruption. 🏗️:bananacamel:

We are going to win.
