He added, "The company has a plan to end the phenomenon of gas burning by quickly installing TM2500 mobile units in the oil fields to benefit from the gas associated with the production of electric power and for a period not exceeding several months to produce hundreds of units per megawatt, which the national network greatly needs."

And he indicated that "GE Company is fully prepared to support Iraq in providing the necessary funding to build strategic projects to cover its need of electrical energy resources, and its financing capabilities depend on global expertise and on solid relations with export insurance agencies in several countries around the world, as well as with major Financial institutions, "affirming" that they will, in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, secure the financing of several important projects in the energy sector at a value of more than two billion US dollars.

When is iraq going to stop using usd and start using iqd? How come There have never been articles that mention about stop using usd forever in iraq.

over the years there has been articles about ending multi currency practices from the world bank / IMF, unfulfilled to date , so much is not known , corruption, lack of leadership at every level contributes to no/slow movement & adherence imo .....cheers

May be iraq prefer use usd instead of iqd because they think iqd is still worthless currency and they have been trying to keep it that way for almost 18 years. Who and what do you think that can push and force iraq to rv the iqd immediately? A lot of hostile protests to take down the current government, like what happened to saddam regime back in 2003?

I have the fewest dinar and i only bought dinar one time on ebay a long time ago and everything went smoothy. And i never bought dinar again since that. Enough is enough. I am happy what i have. if i say if the iqd doesn't rv, i don't regret and lose much when i sell back to dinar dealers. But i am still hoping iqd will rv At Least between 10 cents to 1 buck.
