Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON 

 

 

*** Breitling *** Digital currency in Iraq, if they do create it...There's nothing wrong with it.  It's a fantastic idea but it's not going to compete against the Iraqi dinar.  People are saying, 'If they create this digital currency we're going to be sitting here with nothing.'  That's not true...there is no requirement to get into digital currency.  That's what people are misunderstanding about these...they are not going to get rid of paper notes...  They are creating digital currency because of the convenience.  Think about it.  I have not touched a dollar bill or had coin in my hands for maybe a year...(post 1 of 2).. 

 

*** MilitiaMan ***  today you see the private sector being a focal point along with, [not understood here], the insurance law.  All of those things are now on the table.  Those could very well be the final 'sign the dotted line'.  We need something implemented so we can do these things.  We all know what that implementation needs to be.  They need to go international and that's what we are looking for.  I think we're in a fantastic place.

The issue with Digital Dinars are all large international transactions such as Iraq oil purchased requirements to be paid in Digital IQD only, could possibly render the paper IQD a dead currency. 

Just curious will the Digital Dinar be gold backed & not the paper IQD.

Will new the lower denoms replace high denom notes then high denom notes rendered useless?

These are questions nobody's asking or answering. We won't know until it's all over.

There are some powers that be, that want to keep small investors locked out of the RV/RI.
