The exchange rate of the dollar rose today, Thursday, to its highest levels in the main stock exchange in Baghdad and banking shops.

The Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya Stock Exchange in Baghdad recorded 149,500 Iraqi dinars against 100 US dollars, after it recorded 149150 dinars during its opening yesterday morning.

While the selling prices increased in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad, reaching 150,000 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase prices reached 149,000 dinars per 100 US dollars.

The exchange rates of foreign currencies rose against the Iraqi dinar, on Saturday 5/29/2021, in the currency markets in the Kurdistan Region.

Currency dealer in Sulaymaniyah market, Chuan Hadi, told PUKmedia : The prices of most foreign currencies against the Iraqi dinar rose today, Saturday, pointing out that the exchange rate of 100 dollars against the Iraqi dinar reached 149 thousand and 250 dinars.

He added: The prices of the remaining currencies against the Iraqi dinar are as follows:

 

100 euros = 181,000 dinars.

100 pounds = 210,250 dinars.

100 Turkish lira = 18.000 dinars.

100 thousand Iranian tomans = 6,750 dinars.

Shafaq News / The exchange rates of the dollar decreased, on Sunday, on the main stock exchange in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.

The Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya Central Stock Exchange in Baghdad registered 149,150 Iraqi dinars, compared to 100 US dollars.

While the Central Kifah Stock Exchange registered 149,300 Iraqi dinars during its opening on Saturday morning.

Our correspondent indicated that the selling and buying prices decreased in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad, where the selling price reached 149,500 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase prices reached 148,500 dinars per 100 US dollars.

As for Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the price of the dollar also witnessed a decline, as the selling price reached 149,200 dinars per hundred dollars, and the purchase was 149,000 dinars per hundred US dollars.

Informed sources in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiyah Central Stock Exchange confirmed that the exchange rates recorded 149,150 Iraqi dinars against $ 100, while the Al-Kifah Central Stock Exchange recorded 149,300 Iraqi dinars during its opening on Saturday morning. The sources indicated that the selling and buying prices decreased in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad, where the selling price reached 149,500 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase prices reached 148,500 dinars per 100 US dollars. In Erbil, the dollar prices also witnessed a decline, as the selling price reached 149,200 dinars for every hundred dollars, and the purchase was 149,000 dinars for every hundred dollars.
It is noteworthy that the exchange rates have been witnessing continuous fluctuation for several months, especially after the decision to reduce the value the currency.

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The dollar exchange rate on Wednesday achieved a new rise against the local currency in the markets of the Kurdistan Region and all of Iraq, approaching 150 thousand dinars more than ever before.

Economists ruled out that the dollar would rise more than it is now, as the central bank has been pumping hard currency whenever the dollar rose in order to control its stability.

  It  doesn't make sense that the dinar is more worthless than it was back in the Isis days . We are waiting on something that we can only guess at ,but I believe it is world wide and addresses the needs and security of the burgeoning global market.
