Cabinet Resolution No. 281 of 2017 stipulated the right of the employee to choose one of the banks approved by the Central Bank in the process of salary settlement to open a bank account in preparation for receiving his salary through the account electronically using a bank card.

Financial experts look at the main objective of the salary settlement project is to keep citizens away from hoarding and spread a culture of cashlessness in the market, as the Central Bank revealed that 77 percent of the currency in circulation is outside the framework of the banking system.
