Face facts Shelley.  You may not understand what a change of season means, being a Florida dweller....but for Northerners, particularly after more than a year of Covid and restricted access to all the things we take for granted, we are indeed getting out and moving around, vacations are back on, the lake, camping, day trips, restaurants, shopping...all those things drive the market....add in the gas line hack, the Keystone revocation, as well as the issues in Texas with the power issues and all these things affect gas prices, which in turn affects everything else....Goods and services rise in price as transportation costs rise.....And again, since Obama took the reigns from W, the market has been on blast and still moving along....sure a correction will happen at some point, but for now, things are looking good.  Glass half full....no point in being a Debbie Downer, as there's another election in 24'.

You see everyone understand the methodology of a liberal and most chose to simply ignore it. I, however,  chose to meet it head on. I do so BECAUSE I don't hate liberals. I stopped into the grocery yesterday.....4.5 lbs of ground beef, can of mushroom stems and pieces, large hamburger buns....already had the Swiss at home....total cost $18.32, very equitable deal....$3.29 a pound for fresh ground beef.

He's a good person who treats his fellow posters with respect....that much is for sure.  And he probably likes my posts because I don't antagonize, or kick him around, social media bully style.  He capitulated his postings to the forum conservative majority years ago so as to save their fragile sensibilities, as well as, save himself from censorship and still he's picked on from bad actors, from time to time.....Bad form in my opinion.

Rudy Giuliani Reportedly Called Arizona Official About Getting Election Challenge 'Fixed Up'

Rudy Giuliani called an Arizona county official after the presidential election last year to discuss getting challenges to Joe Biden’s win “fixed up,” the Arizona Republic revealed on Sunday.

Giuliani introduced himself in the Christmas Eve call to Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates as then-President Donald Trump’s attorney.

“Bill, it’s Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer,” Giuliani said in a message left on Gates’ phone that was obtained by the newspaper. “If you get a chance, would you please give me a call? I have a few things I’d like to talk over with you. Maybe we can get this thing fixed up. You know, I really think it’s a shame that Republicans sort of are both in this, kind of, situation. And I think there may be a nice way to resolve this for everybody.”

At the time the Republican-dominated state Senate was challenging Trump’s loss in Maricopa County.

Giuliani’s reference to resolving “this for everybody” could have involved a push for a Trump victory. Earlier this month, Trump indicated to Mar-a-Lago guests that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if “thousands and thousands and thousands of votes” were suddenly found for him during the current recount in Maricopa County.

Gates told the Republic that he never returned Giuliani’s call.

“We don’t do what is easy, we do what is right,” said Gates.

Trump phoned Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) in early January to tell him to “find” enough votes to give his campaign a victory in that state even after the vote for Biden was confirmed. That call, which was also recorded, sparked an investigation by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis into possible illegal election tampering.

Gates is one of four Republicans on the five-member Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, which is the scene of a controversial recount that is being conducted by a Trump-supporting, right-wing conspiracy theorist. One of the auditors is a former state legislator who attended the U.S. Capitol riot and whose own name appears on the ballots he’s examining as a failed candidate and an elector for Trump.

Gates, a life-long Republican, wrote in an op-ed in the Republic earlier this month that he fears his party is being taken over by “conspiracy enablers whose primary purpose is to promote the ‘Big Lie’ about the 2020 election.”

“If we encourage this madness much longer – we will lose credibility with the majority of Americans on issues where I believe we have better ideas. We will do lasting damage to our republic,” Gates wrote.

Giuliani could not immediately be reached for comment.

A Sarasota cybersecurity firm is at the center of a controversy surrounding an audit of the 2020 presidential election vote in Maricopa County, Arizona.

What's happening: Instead of selecting tried-and-true vote-counting experts, the Arizona state Senate went with Cyber Ninjas, a firm that didn't formally bid for the contract and had no experience with election audits, the AP reports.

 

How it happened: Senate President Karen Fann told the AP she can’t recall how she found the firm, but critics point to tweets by Cyber Ninjas’ CFO supporting conspiracy theories that former President Trump won Maricopa County and Arizona.

 

Why it matters: Critics are concerned Cyber Ninjas is testing conspiracy theories instead of just recounting votes.

• One of those strategies, the AP reports, is checking for bamboo fibers to test a theory about fake ballots shipped from Asia.

• "A onetime treasure hunter who claims to have invented a new method to automatically spot ballot fraud says his technology is being used in the review," reporter Nicholas Riccard writes.

• The Republican-majority Maricopa County Board of Supervisors called the firm "grifters."

"If I give you 20 M&Ms, and you want 30, you can keep counting it, but you did not get 30 M&Ms. This is not an effort to find the truth."

Nothing in the rules concerning where people are from.  My issue is that he won't defend his socialist posts when challenged.  Now you aren't afraid to defend your position as much as I disagree with you I respect that, not so much with him.

A tech company hired to run the hand recount of 2020 election in Arizona's Maricopa County has backed out of the effort, the Arizona Republic reported.

The company, Wake Technology Services, Inc., began recounting some 2.1 million ballots on April 23, following a commission by the GOP-dominated state Senate to audit the result.

The Republican Party and former President Donald Trump have claimed that votes were stolen from him in the November election. President Joe Biden won the county by more than 45,000 votes.

The state Senate hired Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based company run by a Trump supporter, to conduct the recount. Cyber Ninjas contracted Wake TSI to count votes.

The recount is still underway, but Wake TSI's contract ended on May 14, the same day that the hand recount was expected to conclude, and the company has chose to let the contract expire, the Arizona Republic reported.

"They were done," Randy Pullen, an audit spokesperson, told the outlet. "They didn't want to come back."

Insider has contacted Wake TSI for comment.

Pullen told the Arizona Republic that StratTech Solutions, an Arizona IT company, had taken over Wake TSI's work on Monday.

As of May 21, only about 500,000 of the 2.1 million ballots had been recounted, according to KTAR News.

The recount in Maricopa County has been criticized for a number of missteps, and labeled a farce by some lawmakers, including Republicans.

Observers who have attended the audit described it as sloppy and inconsistent, with workers chasing proof of conspiracy theories.

 

Raquel Terán, a state lawmaker and chair of the Arizona Democratic Party, told Insider the effort led by Cyber Ninjas was a "sham" that was "fomenting the big lie that the election was stolen."

In early May, GOP state Sen. Paul Boyer, who initially supported the audit, told The New York Times that it "makes us look like idiots."

"Looking back, I didn't think it would be this ridiculous. It's embarrassing to be a state senator at this point," he said.

Earlier in May, the auditors were ridiculed after they said they would be checking ballots for evidence of bamboo with "5K cameras," following the far-fetched theory that Biden ballots were smuggled in from Asia.

Also in May, Trump jumped on a Republican claim that officials in Arizona had deleted an election database as part of the Maricopa County audit. State officials later said they had found the files on an overlooked hard drive.

You know, I use to have two dogs, and I would let them out in the backyard to do their business.   I would go out to the backyard to pick up after them and I would never find any droppings.  I thought at first maybe a squirrel was picking it up, and then I realized one of the dogs was eating it, after I caught her in the act. 

 

I always wondered why she did that but I could never ask her, what she got out of eating dog poop. Dog Poop, Cat Poop makes no difference to her.  But now that I see you are so use to eating this manure the Lame Stream Media is dishing out that, you could give me some insight?
