The Pentagon: We are monitoring the situation after the targeting of Baghdad International Airport
Lloyd Austin, US Secretary of Defense

A spokesman for the US Defense Department said, in a statement to the American (Al Hurra) channel, that (the Pentagon) is monitoring the situation after the targeting of Baghdad International Airport, hours ago .

This comes at a time when Iraqi security sources reported that 3 Katyusha rockets landed in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport from the south .

The sources indicated that one of the missiles landed near the US military base (Victoria), and the sources did not indicate any casualties or material damage, confirming that the missiles were launched from the Euphrates neighborhood in the vicinity of the airport .

No party has yet claimed responsibility for this attack, but Washington often attributes similar attacks targeting its forces or diplomatic headquarters to Iraqi armed groups loyal to Iran .

Political and security meetings to support the country's stability

 Baghdad: Muhannad Abdul-Wahhab

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee revealed that the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, called for a political meeting in Baghdad, to be followed by a meeting of all security leaders, the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Peshmerga to develop new plans for the stability of Iraq.
Badr Al-Ziyadi, a member of the committee, said in an interview with Al-Sabah: "The security breaches that took place in recent days are dangerous because they have evolved into launching missiles and drones, which is not true."
"The government's actions began when the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces called for a major political meeting, after which it would lead to a meeting of all security leaders from the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Peshmerga as well as the armed factions to develop new plans for stabilizing Iraq and not dragging it into instability."
He pointed out that "the Security and Defense Committee called for the creation of high-level coordination between all security leaders so that we do not give the opportunity to those who want to destabilize Iraq to fish in troubled waters," noting that "high coordination will block the way for those who want to destabilize the security of Iraq."

Security Forces: Rocket Launchers Try to Help {ISIS}

 Baghdad: Morning

The security leaders accused the rocket launchers at the military bases and Baghdad airport of "assisting" the terrorist ISIS gangs, by occupying our forces with these attacks.
This accusation came through a statement issued by the Security Media Cell, explaining that "in conjunction with the pre-emptive operations carried out by our security forces against ISIS terrorist gangs in various sectors of operations, and their preoccupation with pursuing the remnants of terrorist elements, we find outlaw groups trying to operate our security forces on fronts. Others, by firing rockets at areas containing Iraqi forces.
The statement stated that "3 missiles fell on the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport out of 8 missiles. The first missile fell near Al-Karkh Central Prison, the second near the Counter-Terrorism Service Academy in an empty square, and the third near the headquarters of one of the Rapid Intervention Regiments, and no casualties were recorded. While the treatment detachments began to dismantle the missiles that did not launch, which were on the roof of one of the empty houses that were rented about 10 years ago.
 days".

where is the truth?

WHERE IS THE TRUTH?

The US Department of Defense stated that the Pentagon is monitoring the situation after targeting Baghdad International Airport, last night, with several missiles.

The American Carnegie Research Institute considered that the Iraqi armed factions are creating new militant identities, in order to blame them for their attacks on the coalition forces , which would complicate the American retaliation and disperse the internal political pressures against them.

How will the American administration deal with those attacks that happen in Iraq?

On this topic, the guest of the "Where is the Truth" program on "Sputnik" radio, political analyst Abd al-Amir al-Majar, says:

"The strategy of the United States in dealing with armed factions is inseparable from its strategy in confronting Iran inside Iraq. Washington realizes that these factions are linked to Iran, and those factions and if they announce new names, this does not remove suspicion from the factions that announced the end of the truce with the United States . "

Hungary continued by saying: "There is a confrontation that has really begun between Iran and the United States, but not at the level of a comprehensive war, but through qualitative operations, as happened with the assassination of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and other targets, and today it is escalating with the start of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file."

Hungary added, "Iran wants to enter negotiations forcefully by putting pressure on the United States, through its arms, whether in Iraq or in Yemen or elsewhere, and it is part of the arm-twisting game, whose most prominent arena and field is in Iraq, who will control the equation." "The security situation, as the United States is counting on Iraq militarily in the matter of resolving the security situation in the country."

Baghdad / National News Center

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, spoke today, Friday, about disturbing the “security” of Iraq, by what he described as “unruly militias.”

Al-Sadr said through a tweet on the Twitter platform, followed by the "National News Center", that "there are parties that want to disturb security for many reasons, the most important of which is delaying or canceling the elections, through some unruly militias that target their bombing of the occupying forces to discourage them from withdrawing." To those militias, or by pushing Iraq into an external conflict by linking it to the Syrian-Israeli conflict.

And he added, "So come to a comprehensive peace without weapons or violence, so that we may live within the confines of our country without foreign agendas and without bowing," adding that "our Iraq needs that peace and peace."
