So long Maxine. As she has said enough is enough.  She’s a liability to the American people.

Maxine Waters needs to be impeached and brought before a jury for her crimes.

This woman is out of control! Get her out of office😝

The corruption so deep she should have lost her seat this last election the fact that she's still in office is insane

Bullies in office. I think we have learned that we don’t want that. She wants more destruction, what a leader!

Yep Maxine was way over the line telling people should take to the streets. Something should be done. What she did was flat out wrong!

There is a growing list of officials that should be held accountable for inciting the  lambs in their flocks to violence or any crimes against society.  Waters, Greene, Trump. Lock them up or throw them out.

Democratic congresswoman urges protesters to stay on streets if Derek Chauvin is cleared

A veteran Democratic congresswoman has urged demonstrators to become more confrontational if Derek Chauvin is cleared of killing George Floyd.

Maxine Waters, who has represented her California district since 1991, joined a crowd in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota protesting the last week's police shooting of Daunte Wright.

Mr Wright, 20, an Afro-American, was shot dead by Kimberley Potter, a veteran police officer who said she had accidentally fired her gun, thinking it was a taser. Potter, who has since resigned, is facing charges of second-degree manslaughter.

The incident triggered days of protests in a state already on high alert pending the verdict in the case of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer accused of killing George Floyd, an unarmed black man last year.

"I’m going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice,” Ms Waters said on Saturday.

“We’ve got to get justice in this country and we cannot allow these killings to continue.”

Asked what demonstrators should do over the days ahead, she continued: “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.

“I hope we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty,” in the Chauvin trial. “And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”

Ms Waters remarks came amid a backdrop of renewed protests across the US over a series of police shootings with unrest reported in Oakland, California and Chicago.

Lawyers in the Chauvin case are due to present their closing argumentson Monday, before the jury retires to consider its verdict.

Another reckless action on Maxine's part.  She is simply part of the problem, when she needs to be using her congressional pulpit for good.  There's many like her in our government, on both sides of the aisle....they only inflame tense situations.  It's their way or the highway, never a strong united front of bipartisan cooperation.  Shameful.

Maxine Waters' 'confrontational' comments could provide Chauvin with grounds for appeal

The irony of her potentially sabotaging the trial is priceless. She may have just bought Chauvin’s freedom with that big mouth of hers. The BLM can thank her later.

Asking for a Friend... If Maxine's Comments are found to be the cause for anything (going the why she doesn't want them to) are they going to go and "Protest" at her Home and Place of Business?

Note how the left are silent? Even after her words coincided with the drive-by shooting at NG.

It’s sad that we need to turn to Sky News Australia for objective reporting in the states. US media = garbage.

"Vile Rhetoric": GOP Rep Accuses Democrats Of "Double Standards" After Maxine Waters Remarks
119,626 views•Apr 19, 2021

Forbes Breaking News

On the House floor, Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) slammed Rep. Maxine Waters' (D-CA) remarks at a rally calling protesters to "get more confrontational," and called out Democrats who she says would respond angrily to such remarks if they were spoken by a Republican.

If Maxine is not held accountable for inciting violence, then every single decent American should stand in front of their State Representatives' offices until this madness is stopped. Enough is Enough!

There is NO way that the jurors can stay away from outside influence in this day and age.

I feel bad for the residents of Brooklyn Center. Regardless of the verdict, they will suffer.

The fact that this judge refused to sequester the jury from the beginning is astonishing. This is perhaps the highest-profile criminal trial in decades.

Add the fact, Twitter user doxxed a defense witness, which lead to someone smearing pig blood on the front door of his former residence where new tenants now live.   This is way out of hand.

I do not believe the jury is unaware of the danger they are in.

The prosecution here knows exactly what they are talking about. They just don't want to admit it.

The jury should have been sequestered from the beginning.

Anything but a not guilty verdict will be automatically appealed anyway.

Get ready for the riots....

Chauvin must be proven guilty.....(that old..."innocent until proven beyond a shadow of a doubt thing")

If a Cop detains you, you do what he tells you to do....

Floyd was sitting in a car when the cops got there.....

Later he refused to get into the cop car claiming he was claustrophobic.....

The cops would have learned early on of his record and convictions....violence and gun use.....he was a big man and an experienced cop would have been able to tell he was hopped up on something.....which he was....fentinal...

They would have ID'ed the other party with him.....a convicted drug dealer.....they would have had a look at that counterfeit money.....

They would have taken him off to jail if he just would have gotten into the car....

None of this would have happened if he just complied....

Minneapolis is a train wreck....Omar comes to mind.....and how does a City do a $27 million wrongful death settlement with the family before the trial even starts.....

A tragic and unnecessary loss of life.....yes.....intentional?....

Not as I see it......three cops couldn't get him in the car.....and they weren't going to lose control of the suspect......a very large and strong guy.....JMO.    CL
