Cruise Ships Play Crucial Role in St. Vincent Volcano Rescue

Multiple cruise ships are arriving at the Caribbean island of St. Vincent today, on a humanitarian mission to carry evacuees to safety after the La Soufriere volcano erupted this morning.

In what may be the first truly positive thing to come out of the cruise industry shutdown, several ships were in the region, empty of passengers but staffed with enough crew members to achieve a rescue mission.

Carnival Paradise and Carnival Legend have both arrived and are off the coast of St. Vincent. Two ships from Royal Caribbean brands — Serenade of the Seas and Celebrity Reflection — are en route, expected this evening. A third Royal Caribbean ship is expected to arrive in the coming days.

In a statement sent to Cruise Radio, Carnival Cruise Line said “Carnival Legend and Carnival Paradise are offshore from St. Vincent, awaiting further instructions from local officials on how Carnival Cruise Line can support the evacuation of local residents who are under threat from volcano La Soufriere. Carnival and Royal Caribbean are also working to coordinate our collective efforts for a seamless operation once the embarkation of residents begins.  There is no time yet set for when these evacuation sailings will commence.”

All Precautions Will Be Taken To Protect Crew & Evacuees

In a statement yesterday, Carnival said that “all precautions will be taken to protect the health and safety of Carnival crew and the passengers who board the ships.”

La Soufrière, which has been dormant for decades, first started showing volcanic activity in December, which picked up this week. Late on Thursday Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves urged more than 16,000 residents in ‘red zones’ to urgently evacuate. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is home to about 100,000 people.

Then late this morning, an explosive eruption spewed ash plumes six miles into the air and blanketed large parts of the island in smoke and ash. Ash traveled as far as Argyle International Airport, about 12 miles from the volcano.

In a tweet sent out this morning, Celebrity Cruise CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo stated: “Sent Celebrity Reflection to St. Vincent to help with volcano evacuation efforts. Taking all precautions and so grateful we can help the island’s residents!”

Only Vaccinated People Will Be Able To Board The Rescue Ships

Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves said in a press conference that only vaccinated people from the island would be eligible to board the cruise ships to take temporary refuge on another island.

St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, and Antigua have all volunteered to accept evacuees, also on the condition that they be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The island’s emergency management office switched the alert level to red yesterday afternoon. Officials began the evacuation process, carrying St. Vincentians to shelters outside the danger zone or to await cruise ship transport to neighboring islands.

“Evacuation of people in the red and orange zones to safe areas continues in earnest,” St. Vincent’s National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said in a tweet around noon today. “Heavy ash fall has halted the process somewhat since visibility is extremely poor. NEMO continues to respond to the many challenges of the process.”

La Soufriere last erupted in 1979. There were no deaths on that occasion as officials had enough warning time to move people to safety. A previous eruption in 1902 killed nearly 1,700 people.

Erouscilla Joseph, who leads the University of the West Indies Seismic Center, told German news organization Deutsche Welle that “more explosions could occur,” adding that it is impossible to predict whether they would be bigger or smaller than the first.

After more than a year of inactivity, there’s little doubt that crews on the rescue cruise ships will be thrilled to welcome evacuees aboard, and to provide some hospitality and comfort to people going through this tough time.

Hateful Rumors Try To Tarnish DMX’s Last Days But His Family’s Latest Claims Will Definitely Shut Them Up!

The family is considering taking legal action against news publications prematurely concluding that DMX suffered a drug overdose

BY WAYNE DUPREE

Social media ran with the drug-related DMX story quickly because it got clicks and helped keep their lights on for another month, but they never waited until the family talked or gave their side.

As a black man living in this society, I know it’s easy to get caught up in demonizing someone you don’t like and then gathering others to create a crew to go after someone’s integrity to tear them down. It’s happened to us at WayneDupree.com for years. Still, we continue to do what we told you we would, which means offer an alternate opinionated view of what the mainstream media gives you so you can be informed rather than indoctrinated.

Many spread the story that DMX had overdosed on drugs and was left in a vegetative state. The DMX that I saw, I don’t know him personally, held Bible studies during the pandemic and helped people accept Jesus as their personal savior.

So the narrative that was out there tapped into a lot of racist innuendoes and made up minds that he had to have done drugs to be where he was and have the results of what he has and that I couldn’t accept.

I didn’t know the family would come out and tell the world that DMX had received the COVID vaccination before he was hospitalized. My jaw dropped.

A quick history lesson on DMX that most of you don’t know but made up your mind to accept the evil narrative to satisfy your spirit. I remember reading watching a video where DMX explained how one of the individuals he looked up to had tricked him into doing drugs at an early age, and it hurt him from that day on. He had trusted this friend, and while he talked about it, he was choked up and shed a tear because it hurt him so. It wasn’t soft drugs; it was crack cocaine.

On Saturday morning, things became a lot more clear:

[MTO News] In an EXCLUSIVE interview, MTO News spoke with DMX’ family member who told us that the rapper received the COVID vaccine about a week before he suffered from the heart attack.

DMX’s family member told MTO News, “[DMX] got the vaccine when they opened it up to people over 50. He got it so that he could go travel and perform, stuff like that.”

New York State opened up the COVID-19 vaccinations for people over the age of 50 in mid March. And the family member suspects that DMX heart attack could have been a reaction to the vaccine. The family member explained, “Everyone [in the news] keeps saying that [DMX] had a drug overdose. How do they know. I’m in the family and no doctor told me anything about an overdose.”

The family member is FURIOUS about the speculation surrounding DMX drug use. She told MTO News, “Yes he had past issues with drugs. But nobody knows that he had an OD. It’s f**cked up that its being reported like that.”

She told MTO News that she – and the family – are considering taking legal action against news publications prematurely concluding that DMX suffered a drug overdose. But what is clear – according to the family member – is that DMX did take the Covid vaccine.

MTO released this disclaimer: “We generally do not post single-source stories. The source for the information—MTO News—is a heavily trafficked site (over 10 million visitors per month) with contacts in the rap world. Though we have not been able to independently confirm the interview with a member of Simmons’ family, we are running the story based on the influence of the source publication.”

Just because DMX is black, a rapper, and hospitalized doesn’t mean he was doing drugs. These people are human too, and there could be other things that lead up to the situation, as in this case. So many online accounts claim they aren’t racists, but your outward actions could be tagged as such because you’re so quick to conclude the worst about people of color. If you don’t know the person, why lump him/her into a narrative of others. The bottom line is you don’t know, so wait. Is it that hard?

According to his family, DMX died after getting the COVID vaccination. How dare you push the narrative without having any knowledge of the reformed rapper or his last days.

Another thing you didn’t know. DMX was against the music industry. He kept trying to inform and educate young new artists/rappers to clarify certain things because the industry would eat them up and spit them out. His bible studies online helped many, and if you take the time to read many of their responses, he fulfilled his purpose here on earth.

Wake up and stop letting online media create more racists.

FIRST OPINION

Federal law prohibits employers and others from requiring vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccine distributed under an EUA

Ever since the Food and Drug Administration granted emergency use authorization for two new vaccines, employers, schools, and other organizations are grappling with whether to require Covid-19 vaccination.

While organizations are certainly free to encourage their employees, students, and other members to be vaccinated, federal law provides that, at least until the vaccine is licensed, individuals must have the option to accept or decline to be vaccinated.

Knowing what an organization can or cannot do with respect to Covid-19 vaccines can help them keep their employees, students, and members safe and also save the them from costly and time-consuming litigation.

Much remains unknown about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine

Even though the FDA granted emergency use authorizations for the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines in December 2020, the clinical trials the FDA will rely upon to ultimately decide whether to license these vaccines are still underway and are designed to last for approximately two years to collect adequate data to establish if these vaccines are safe and effective enough for the FDA to license.

The abbreviated timelines for the emergency use applications and authorizations means there is much the FDA does not know about these products even as it authorizes them for emergency use, including their effectiveness against asymptomatic infection, death, and transmission of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the disease.

Given the uncertainty about the two vaccines, their EUAs are explicit that each is “an investigational vaccine not licensed for any indication” and require that all “promotional material relating to the Covid-19 Vaccine clearly and conspicuously … state that this product has not been approved or licensed by the FDA, but has been authorized for emergency use by FDA” (emphasis added).

EUAs are clear: Getting these vaccines is voluntary

The same section of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act that authorizes the FDA to grant emergency use authorization also requires the secretary of Health and Human Services to “ensure that individuals to whom the product is administered are informed … of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.”

Likewise, the FDA’s guidance on emergency use authorization of medical products requires the FDA to “ensure that recipients are informed to the extent practicable given the applicable circumstances … That they have the option to accept or refuse the EUA product …”

In the same vein, when Dr. Amanda Cohn, the executive secretary of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, was asked if Covid-19 vaccination can be required, she responded that under an EUA, “vaccines are not allowed to be mandatory. So, early in this vaccination phase, individuals will have to be consented and they won’t be able to be mandatory.” Cohn later affirmed that this prohibition on requiring the vaccines applies to organizations, including hospitals.

The EUAs for both the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines require facts sheets to be given to vaccination providers and recipients. These fact sheets make clear that getting the vaccine is optional. For example, the one for recipients states that, “It is your choice to receive or not receive the Covid-19 Vaccine,” and if “you decide to not receive it, it will not change your standard of medical care.”

What this means in practice

When the FDA grants emergency use authorization for a vaccine, many questions about the product cannot be answered. Given the open questions, when Congress granted the authority to issue EUAs, it chose to require that every individual should be allowed to decide for himself or herself whether or not to receive an EUA product. The FDA and CDC apparently consider this fundamental requirement of choice important enough that even during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic they reinforced that policy decision when issuing their guidance related to the Covid-19 vaccines.

This means that an organization will likely be at odds with federal law if it requires its employees, students or other members to get a Covid-19 vaccine that is being distributed under emergency use authorization.

State law often prohibits retaliating against an employee for refusing to participate in a violation of federal law. Organizations that require Covid-19 vaccination in violation of federal law may face lawsuits under these state laws not only to block the policy but also for damages and attorneys’ fees. Such potentially costly lawsuits can be avoided by refraining from adopting policies that require vaccination or penalize members for choosing not to be vaccinated.

Organizations are free to encourage vaccinations through internal communications, through educational events, and through other measures to urge employees to be vaccinated. They can take these measures so long as: (1) they are not viewed as coercive, (2) the organization makes clear the decision regarding whether to receive the vaccine is voluntary, and (3) the measures comply with the requirements in the EUAs and the related regulations for these products.

People across the world have had their lives upended during the last year. The urgency to return to normalcy is felt deeply by many. As decision-makers at organizations decide on their Covid-19 vaccination policy, they should be careful to not let this passion lead the organization to run afoul of the law.

There's your timeline folks. You got somewhere in the vicinity of two yrs before these evil, demonic people force you to inject yourself with their CURE. So what can you do to avoid the inevitable? BUY SILVER AND GOLD. So that you will be financially independent and not need to work.
