Iraqi governorates announce work suspension tomorrow, Monday

A number of central governorates in Iraq announced the suspension of official working hours in their departments, with some exceptions, on the occasion of the popular visit.

The governorates of Diwaniyah, Karbala, Wasit and Diyala announced the suspension of the official working hours for tomorrow, Monday, with the exception of the service, health, security and education departments.

Three governorates will be shut down tomorrow on the occasion of the birth of Imam Al Mahdi {PBUH}
  
(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Three governorates announced today, Sunday, that the official working hours will be suspended for tomorrow, on the occasion of the anniversary of the commemoration of the popular visit.
 

The governor of Diwaniyah, Zuhair Ali Al-Shaalan, decided in a statement that Al-Furat News received a copy of, "suspending the official working hours for tomorrow, Monday, with the exception of the service, health, security and education departments."

For his part, Karbala Governor Nassif Al-Khattabi announced, "the official working hours will be suspended tomorrow, Monday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Imam Al-Mahdi, with the exception of service departments."

To this extent, Diyala governorate decided to suspend the official working hours on Monday, with the exception of schools to sit for exams.

The governorate of Maysan announced this morning that the official working hours will be suspended for tomorrow, Monday.

According to a document issued by the governor of Maysan Ali Dawai obtained by {Al Furat News}, it was decided to "suspend the official working hours in Maysan governorate tomorrow, Monday 3/29/2021, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the awaited Imam Al-Mahdi (PBUH), except for the Maysan Education Directorate for the conduct of exams for students."

Millions celebrate the night of the fifteenth of Shaban in Karbala

Millions of visitors revived in the holy Karbala, yesterday evening, Sunday, and at dawn today, on the night of the middle of Shaaban, the occasion of the birth of the awaited Imam Al-Hujjah Ibn Al-Hasan Al-Askari, "God Almighty hastened his honorable return", amidst extensive security, service and health measures.
The measures included the deployment of security forces, Popular Mobilization Units, and supportive health and logistical bodies in the holy Karbala and the roads leading to it from the governorates of Baghdad, Najaf and Babil.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Holy Hussaini Shrine announced the completion of its preparations for the visit of the half of Shaban, and the official in maintaining order at the shrine, Fadel Oz, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The shrine has finished its preparations regarding the million-plus visit,” indicating that “several meetings were held with angels. The Abbasid shrine and the area between the Two Holy Mosques and the Directorate of Protection of the Two Holy Mosques to discuss the organizational aspect of the visit ».
He added that «the streets surrounding the two shrines and the streets leading to them were divided, in addition to the two holy shrines to achieve a high flow of visitors’ movement, as this is of great importance on the security side. The police as well as a meeting with the Minister of the Interior and the Chief of Staff of the Army during their visit to Karbala to discuss the security issue.
Oz added, "Everyone is interested in making the visit a success, securing it, providing protection for visitors and facilitating their movement through the distribution of military and security units, in addition to the popular crowd on all the governorate's axes."
The commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Major General Ali Al-Hamdani, reported that security plans had been put in place to make the Shaban visit a success, while he confirmed that there is great coordination and cooperation between the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security services Other.
