Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Dr. Magda Al-Tamimi, confirmed that: The share of the Kurdistan region in the budget is 12.67% & the previous rates will not return.

Al-Tamimi said in a televised statement that: The President of the Office of Finance in the Kurdistan region visited us for the first time & the Kurdistan region delivered data on the salaries of institutions without the number of employees.  She added: The Kurdistan region handed the Finance Committee three-year budgets.

Al-Tamimi said: The Kurdistan region cooperates with Baghdad in a way more than previous times.

Al-Tamimi indicated: Baghdad received a budget from the Kurdistan region for the first time. We do not want to pass the budget by majority, but by mutual consent between all parties, and there must be a settlement between Baghdad & Erbil, in order to see the student and the wanted since 2012. Monday 15, March 2021 12:55 The Vice President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, revealed the latest developments in the agreement with the federal government regarding the region's share in the 2021 budget, while clarifying the issue of the region’s agreement with Turkey on oil.

Talabani said in a statement, "We have a prior agreement with the Iraqi government, and this agreement was included in the draft budget, and after that the entire project was sent to the Iraqi parliament, pointing to discussions with the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives in this regard.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the share of the Kurdistan region in the budget is 12.67%, and while confirming that the previous percentages will not return, it disclosed that the Kurdistan region gave data on the salaries of institutions without the number of employees.

"The Kurdistan region gave us data on the salaries of institutions without the number of employees," said Majida Al-Tamimi, a member of the committee, in an interview followed by / the information /.

Al-Tamimi added, "The proceeds of the Kurdistan region from the official outlets are more than one trillion dinars during a year," stressing that "the share of the Kurdistan region in the budget is 12.67 percent and the previous rates will not return."

And she added, "We do not want to pass the budget by the majority, but by mutual consent between all parties," indicating that "there must be a settlement between Baghdad and Erbil to see the student and the wanted since 2012."
