Kurdish deputy reveals the approval of the vote on the budget

{Politics: Al-Furat News} The MP for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rizan Sheikh Delir, announced that the Kurds' share in the draft budget law for 2021 is no longer a problem and that the current differences are with the political parties.

"Iraqi citizens must know the truth, which is that the Kurdistan region’s share of the budget did not constitute an obstacle to voting on the draft federal budget law," Deler said, in a press statement.
She added, "The Kurdistan region delegation visited dozens of times to Baghdad to reach an agreement, and what is an obstacle to the budget is the intention of the Iraqi political parties and their conflicts with the government, not the Kurds' share in the draft budget law."
Dlir indicated that "Article 11 of the budget bill for the Kurdish quota has been voted on by the Finance Committee, and that what has so far hindered the parliament's vote on the budget are the problems of the Iraqi political parties, and that each party wants to have its proposals a place in the legal project."

Again .. Parliament fails to hold a session to vote on the budget

{Politics: Al Furat News} The House of Representatives failed, again, today, Sunday, to hold a voting session on the draft federal budget bill for 2021.

A representative source told {Euphrates News} that "despite the agreement on the share of the Kurdistan region, which was the budget knot, the differences moved to other materials such as contracts, job grades, the dollar exchange rate, the displaced, and the reconstruction of devastated areas."
Estimates of the budget indicate 128 trillion dinars (about 89 billion dollars).
The Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, said in a press statement that the session for passing the budget will not be held on Sunday night.
It is not known yet the date of the next session, given that it is likely that it will be tomorrow, Monday.

How can they be in disagreement over the price of the dinar against the dollar when the GOI has NO say in the price of the dinar??

Right!  We were told it's the Central Bank that makes the decision.

The problem is who knows what the truth is anymore?  They lie about EVERYTHING!

This is true.  They do lie about everything but the New rate has to be commensurate with the details in the budget and probably approved by the CBI.

I am wondering when the People are again going to stand up and Start the Riots and Protests over again.....They were given a years to get the Reforms done, then an extension on that year and still they can't get anything done. I read somewhere the GOI was getting worried about weapons being available on the Streets.....Most likely Iranian Militia......Maybe the Iraqi people Need to start buying Weapons on the Black Market.

I just don't see how they can have all these International Companies coming into Iraq to Rebuild Iraq without those same companies knowing a Rate and a Date....No one falls for Whimpy's "I will Gladly pay you for a Hamburger Line These Days....They want to Know WIITFM....What Is In It For Me.

{Politics: Al Furat News} The leader of the Sadrist movement, Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr, warned of repetitive postponement of the House of Representatives vote on the federal budget bill for 2021.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet on Twitter: "Once again, we see the House of Representatives, having been unable to vote for the budget due to political, partisan, sectarian and {nationalism} differences, forgetting the suffering of their people."
He added, "From here, I would advise forgetting their differences and approving them as soon as possible," warning of the "consequences of delay," thanking "the position of the Sairoun bloc and asking them for more."

The State of Law coalition demanded, on Sunday, to restore the dollar’s exchange rate to its previous price, calling for the cancellation of foreign loans because they are not needed.

The MP said from the cluster Ammar Al-Shibli During a press conference in Parliament, his bloc "affirms that it is with its audience in achieving justice and fairness in the 2021 budget, and reaffirms its clear positions that it expressed through statements, statements and official correspondence, which is summarized in the distribution of the final agreed upon draft of the budget with the detailed tables a while ago." Sufficient for all members of the House of Representatives to be able to see it and to ensure that some paragraphs are not tampered with before the voting session. "

He added that his bloc "calls for the return of the dollar exchange rate to its previous price to pay damage to the poor and middle-income groups of citizens in light of a stifling health and economic crisis," considering that "mentioning the price of a barrel of oil in Iraqi dinars is a circumvention of the public's demands to restore the exchange rate to 1119 dinars." For one dollar. "

He pointed out that "the inclusion in Article (11) of the requirement that the region hand over what exceeded (460) thousand barrels to a company (Sumo) To ensure that there is no smuggling for more than that, as well as to deliver any other non-oil imports to the federal government, calling for the abolition of Articles 38, 41, 42 and 47 related to the privatization of the state's production and service sectors, the sale of state-owned agricultural lands, as well as the sale of financial assets "Industrial and public service, because of the outlets for corruption, damage to public money, and open the way for manipulation in light of an atmosphere that is not appropriate for such a step at the present time."

He also called for " the abolition of foreign loans not needed after the improvement in oil prices and because of its harmful effects on the future economic and political levels, especially foreign sovereign loans and guarantees for The Ministry of Electricity Where the report of the Office of Financial Supervision stated that these loans are a drain on the state's public treasury.

He called for "not to add any material that gives individuals." ISIS The terrorist is the description of the martyrs under the names intended to delude the public through wordplay to find a reason in which the victim is equal with the executioner and the murderer with the martyr. "

Just my thinking but this Statement and the rest of the Article are referring to the $3.22 rate and better and not the 1190 rate....Even at 1190 they can't pay anything and they are still not International

They are referring to the 1190 but what must be done now is to drop the three zeros. Any rate close to 1190 would go back to full scale corruption.

And when they drop the 3 zeros off of the 1190 rate, that makes .84¢ and I’ll take that rate in a heartbeat!! 👍🏻 💰
