The guy that got me and my husband into this investment in the first place sold a lot of his dinars a few years back. He lost his job and was trying to get on disability (which kept getting denied) for months. Before his disability claim was finally approved, he needed money to live on, so he sold off several million. I don’t know how often it happens, but I imagine there are people who have given up and sold all their dinar to either reinvest in something else, or they just needed the cash. 1
