Obviously nasa is great at building a rocket that can go up and curve the shape of the firmament.

Launch schedule: Upcoming Florida rocket launches and landings

oddly enough there is a graveyard in the ocean for rockets called point nemo (no one).

Why's the lifeguard shack all crooked, bent, curved, and out of whack?  Why is the horizon concave?.....Must be a lens issue.  <_<

put a ruler along the horizon itself and it is flat. The beach does go down making that appearance.

But just in case how about this one?

Those are beautiful pictures and a couple of them with the hundreds of "shooting" stars are a hoot.....not even trying anymore to deny the ball Earth is spinning 1000 miles an hour....I like it.

@bigwave  Probably dumb questions.  I haven't been following this topic from the beginning, but I sure would like to know your thoughts on these things.

1.  If the earth is flat, why have we been taught (in school, etc.) that it's round?  Why didn't they just teach us that it's flat?

What is the benefit of making everyone think the world is round, if it isn't?

2.  Why are supposed geniuses like Elon Musk building rockets to go to other planets, if there aren't any?  Or are there?

3.  Why do we have NASA and agencies like that?

Thanks for any answers you can give.  I appreciate it.

If your going to put something in orbit you don't launch it straight up.

Think about it, the shortest distance between two things is a straight line.  Right?

Now consider how much thrust is needed to send a rocket into space. And how much more fuel is needed flying through the atmosphere horizontally. Why not just fly straight up, the shortest distance about 25 miles to zero gravity, and make adjustments for orbit in space where MUCH LESS fuel is needed? The amount of money you would save by flying straight up would be drastic.

However, the radiation belt is far closer than said and they know that there's not enough time to make adjustments in space for orbit.

All just guess:

1. There is a big effort to hide God as our creator.

2. Well I'll buy you a Morton's Steak Dinner if someone flies to Mars

3. nasa gets about 12 million a day - they have a lot to hide.

How about these questions:

Why would nasa deceive us with green screens and wires?

Why won't nasa debate any flat earthers like Eric Dubay?

Why would Buzz come out and say "we didn't go" to the moon?

You don't have to answer the questions - they are rhetorical in nature.

There are many things I don't know.

I am just looking for answers myself...

Okay, thanks Bigwave.  A lot to think about.
