That was also the then Argentine military fascist regime's attempt to divert int'l attention from the massacre of people they were systematically kidnapping, torturing and killing ( about 50,000) including pregnant women whose children then were adopted by military families)...Many opposers being dropped from helicopters into the Atlantic ocean....

 

In 1983 the Country returned to Democracy with  a democratically  elected President ( Raul Alfonsin)...At last
