What tips do you have to avoid being ripped off? Thanks! No! I developed a good relationship with my dealer. He’s been doing this for about 20 years. He said he learned the most from buying scrap silver a gold. That’s where you Learn the weights and percentages of actual silver content. Find a local shop that has been around for years and you will be fine. My guy will sell me for spot + 10% so my premium is not so bad. Plus if you find a respectful dealer they will probably teach you about the differences in metals market.

Stay under $10,000 per day also. Otherwise it gets reported to IRS Same goes for when you sell.
