Al-Mustaqilah /… The Iraqi Central Bank’s hard currency sales increased dramatically, reaching more than $ 111 million, adding that 20 banks met the requests to enhance assets abroad and four banks met the purchase of dollars in cash.

 

An informed source told Al-Mustaqilla today, Wednesday, that “the Central Bank of Iraq witnessed during its auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today a rise in its sales to reach 111 million 266 thousand dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to Tuesday, when it reached Sales of 58 million 136 thousand dollars.

 

He added that "the sales that went to strengthen the assets abroad in the form of remittances and appropriations amounted to 111 million and 266 thousand, while 1,100,000 dollars were purchased in cash."

He pointed out that "20 banks met requests to enhance assets abroad, and four banks met requests to buy dollars in cash," while the number of mediation companies participating in the auction reached 10 companies. (End)

Shafaq News / The Central Bank of Iraq sales of hard currency rose, on Wednesday, to more than 111 million dollars.

 

The correspondent of Shafaq News Agency stated that the Central Bank of Iraq witnessed during its auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today a rise in its sales to reach 111 million 266 thousand dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Tuesday, where sales reached 58 million 136 thousand dollars.

 

He added that the sales that went to boost the assets abroad in the form of remittances and appropriations amounted to 111 million and 266 thousand dollars, while 1,100,000 dollars were purchased in cash.

 

Our correspondent indicated that 20 banks have met requests to enhance assets abroad, and four banks have met requests to purchase dollars in cash, while the number of mediation companies participating in the auction reached 10 companies.
