Parliamentary Finance discusses with the Minister of Youth and Sports the allocations of his ministry within the budget

Baghdad / NINA / The Parliamentary Finance Committee chaired by Representative Haitham Al-Jubouri, in the presence of its members and Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee Abbas Aliwi, hosted the Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal within the series of meetings it is conducting to discuss the draft federal budget bill for 2021.

The committee affirmed: "The youth segment They need broader attention and special care, as they are exposed to great pressure from social media through organized attacks targeting the Iraqi youth, in addition to the need to protect them from societal distortions such as the danger of drugs and others by providing youth centers and sports entertainment facilities to straighten their energies and develop their capabilities to adapt them to the benefit of society.

Minister Darajal reviewed his projects and plans in light of his ministry's allocations within the 2021 budget, stressing that it needs to increase the size of these allocated sums, as they are below ambition and do not meet the needs of Iraqi youth, as well as investment projects that may see the light during this year, such as El Mina stadiums, Kirkuk and Al Zawra Arena hall and Sports Medicine Hospital.

For its part, the Finance Committee confirmed that the economic crisis that Iraq and the world are going through also forced it to pressure spending and the large deficit to avoid burdening the state with debts that may be paid for by future generations, but it will work, as much as possible, to allocate the amounts that enable the ministry to fulfill its obligations. 9 ended

The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, on Wednesday (January 20, 2021), that the draft federal budget law for 2021 will be ready for voting next week.

Member of the committee, Representative Shirwan Mirza, said in a press statement, reviewed by  IQ NEWS , that the Finance Committee continues to discuss the draft federal budget law for 2021 with the relevant ministries and government agencies .

He added that the Finance Committee holds about 10 daily meetings with government agencies, stressing that the committee has received all notes and proposals on the budget .

He explained, that the Finance Committee will start amending the budget as of next week and I think that the bill will be ready for voting during the next week .

On January 16, 2021, the House of Representatives announced the completion of the reading of the fiscal budget bill for 2021.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by Masoud Barzani, confirmed, on Tuesday (January 18, 2021), that discussions on the draft general budget bill are continuing and are progressing well without any obstacles .

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Parliamentary Bloc, Vian Sabri, said in a statement that she made today, and which was reviewed by  IQ NEWS , that discussions and discussions are underway on the draft Iraqi general budget law for 2021 in the Iraqi parliament, and the draft is currently before the Finance Committee for discussion.

Sabri added that the discussions on the budget are going well so far, and there is no problem with the Kurdistan Region’s share as well .

Committee member Shirwan Mirza said today, Wednesday, that "the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar will remain high for the next three years, according to the Iraqi Central Bank's plan to address the economic crisis and to fill the deficit in financial budgets for the coming years."

Next 3 years? Say what? Are you kidding me? You aren't serious right. Does 3 years mean the year 2024? Wow is iraq trying to fool the dinar investors? Or is iraq trying to playing games with us? and ashamed that I told anybody I hold this currency. They hype up an Rv at the end of every year

and when the new year starts it is the same s$%t. They held the rate at 1190 for almost 20 years

so holding it at 1450 for another three years won't matter to them. They will try to borrower next, mark my 

word, and if you notice a lot of people on this DV site don't even comment anymore. It's like the news

in Iraq is being ignored and the world is going to do the same thing. I have bought into this BS so

the only other option is to hold on to it and maybe it will RV by the time I draw my Social Security because

Mubasher: Representative Hussein Al-Uqabi, a member of the legal committee in the Iraqi parliament, said that investing in state real estate could supplement the budget by 10 trillion dinars annually.

MP Hussein Al-Uqabi warned, in statements to the "Al-Tenth" program on Al-Iraqiya News Channel, today, Tuesday, that the major corruption system has legitimacy and sticks to the neck of institutions, stressing that "corruption threatens the future of the Iraqi citizen," according to the Iraq News Agency, "Conscious."

Al-Uqabi pointed out that the offices of the inspectors modern control coincide with work, and their cancellation is an execution of administrative control, noting that the Office of the Public Prosecutor is supposed to replace the offices of inspectors in every ministry.

He explained, that there are 3 thousand employees in the Office of Financial Supervision, and this number is not sufficient for monitoring in all parts of the state, pointing out that the Shiite Endowment Office has invested two trillion and 240 billion dinars in the establishment of one of the malls, and this amount is sufficient to build 1,200 schools throughout the country.

He indicated that there is great corruption in the state's real estate inside the Green Zone, and that there are 600,000 state properties throughout the country.

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Today, Thursday, the Finance Committee held its meeting No. (27) to complete its discussions on the draft federal budget bill for 2021.

The Information Department stated in a brief statement that Al Furat News received a copy of it that "the Finance Committee held its meeting No. (27) to complete its discussions on the draft federal budget bill for 2021."

The Parliamentary Finance Committee indicated, on Wednesday, that it will study adding articles in the budget law to support the private sector and stimulate the economy.

The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement that Al Furat News received a copy of it, that "the Finance Committee continues to discuss the draft federal budget bill for 2021," noting that it will study adding articles in the law that support the private sector and contribute to revitalizing the Iraqi economy.

And confirmed according to the statement that "the sub-committees of the Finance Committee will host the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministries of Industry and Transport and the Iraqi Media Network, to discuss their financial allocations in the 2021 budget."

Resolving the budget is approaching .. Expectations to vote within days

A member of the Finance Committee, Magda Al-Tamimi, revealed today, Thursday, that the vote on the 2021 budget is imminent.

 

Al-Tamimi said in a statement that "the meetings of the Finance Committee are continuing, with the hosting of several official bodies to find out the accurate data of each ministry and institution to explain some of the articles and the extent of their economic feasibility, in preparation for taking decisions on controversial articles and after reviewing the most prominent obstacles facing each party."

 

Al-Tamimi pointed to "the diligent work of the sub-committees formed by the Finance Committee to provide detailed reports on the budgets of the three presidencies, ministries, institutions and all bodies, and from the principle of exchanging visions in preparation for resolving what is related to the 2021 budget, especially with regard to reducing expenditures and increasing revenues."

 

And she continued, "It is hoped that the budget will be presented to a vote within days."
