Pelosi is seeking approval for a resolution urging Pence to demand that Trump be removed from office Pelosi is seeking approval for a resolution urging Pence to demand that Trump be removed from office

President of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, announced on Sunday evening that it is ready to start a second impeachment measure against President Donald Trump, unless he is removed from office within days.

Pelosi said, "We will go ahead with introducing" impeachment measures in the House of Representatives unless Trump is impeached under the 25th amendment to the constitution, according to AFP.

Reuters quoted Pelosi as saying that the House of Representatives will vote this week to urge US Vice President Mike Pence and ministers to remove Trump from the presidency, before impeachment measures begin.

It is expected that the House of Representatives will hold its vote, Monday or Tuesday, on a resolution that gives Pence the authority to implement Article 25 of the US Constitution, which provides for the US President to be removed from office in the event that he is unable to perform his official duties, according to Pelosi in a letter conveyed. Reuters.

And 10 days before the end of his term, Trump is increasingly facing calls to resign, including his Republican camp, to avoid a difficult isolation at the height of a political, health and economic crisis in the United States.

The authorities continue to search for the pro-Trump demonstrators who issued death threats against Pence and Pelosi, who are the second and third largest state officials, during the attack on the Capitol building on Wednesday, which was launched by Trump supporters to denounce the results of the presidential election, in which the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, was declared victorious.

Pelosi: Trump is crazy and a servant of Putin, and it is necessary to stand trial

881232-54874a08-3bba-405e-a5ed-215d9f026
Baghdad / NINA / The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, described the incumbent President Donald Trump as a madman and hand maiden of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I don’t know what the Russians have about President Trump, personally, politically or financially. There is no other explanation for why the US president is so serving Putin,” Pelosi said in an interview with CBS.

She also described Trump as insane, and emphasized the necessity of his trial, saying: “Unfortunately, the person who runs the executive branch is a crazy, imbalanced president who is dangerous to the United States. It will take a few days before we can protect ourselves from him. But what he has committed is a dangerous act. It requires criminal prosecution. "

Democrats earlier accused Trump of conspiring with Russia, which was denied by the White House and the Kremlin, as Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller confirmed, after a two-year investigation, that there was no evidence of this accusation.

House Democrats begin impeachment proceedings

House Democrats begin impeachment proceedings

Mubasher: Democrats in the US House of Representatives have introduced a one-article legislation to hold President Donald Trump accountable in preparation for his impeachment, after recent congressional events.

Although he has only eight days left for the Trump administration, his impeachment may prevent him from taking public office in the future.

Democrats in the House of Representatives on Monday introduced legislation to hold Trump accountable for fomenting the insurgency after his supporters' attack on the Congress building last week.

The legislation indicates that Trump gave a speech at a rally shortly before his supporters launched the attack, and that he made statements that were encouraging and leading to chaos on the Capitol.

So far, at least 210 lawmakers have backed the legislation, placing them less than the 218 majority needed to impeach Trump in the House.
