Luigi found this article of Dinarian interests...

It's looking more like no RV-RI at least until April 1st at the earliest.

Put your IQD back in safe storage for now. Some Gurus reported banks are accepting appointments.

That has not been proven nor have #800 been released.

Happy April Fool's Day from Iraq.

Treat as a rumor. Not varafied. Your opine.

Guru Jeff:

I know there were a  fair amount of people that were hopeful that the rate would change in Jan because they were under the impression that Iraq's fiscal year started on Jan 1st. Iraq's fiscal year starts on 1 April. April Fool's Day.

just more from Jeff and he also claims to Pope is going to Iraq (A Muslim County for the most part) to bless them During a Hebrew Holiday.......

Iraq's fiscal year starts January 1 and ends December 31st.

Accounting and accounting rules in Iraq

Accounting Rules

Tax Year
The fiscal year begins on January 1st and ends on December 31 of the same year.
Accounting Standards
The Iraqi Company Law No. 21 of 1997 establishes financial reporting requirements in Iraq. According to the Law, all companies must apply IFRS or IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Full IFRS are required to be used by companies whose securities are publicly traded, private banks, private shared companies; and consultancy companies.
The Iraq Interim Law on Securities Markets (adopted 18 April 2004) requires IFRSs for all companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange.

CIA's website also shows Calendar Year but the website is down.

Thank you Karsten. Why do people insist on spreading debunked info?

They do this because they are what are known as PUMPERS. Much like pimpers, but they are pumping.

It’s been going on, ever since I got into this deal back in 2010! I have not seen or heard anything like the scuttle-butt and just down right lies associated with this investment!
