Including the imposition of a curfew .. Al-Kazemi issues several decisions regarding the Dhi Qar events
Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister of Iraq

Mubasher: Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister of Iraq, issued several decisions regarding the events in Dhi Qar Governorate.

The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief, Major General Yahya Rasool, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency "INA", today, Friday, that the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, issued a decision to dismiss the police chief in Dhi Qar Governorate.

Al-Kazemi also decided to form a committee to investigate today's events that took place in the governorate, to declare a curfew in it, and to cancel permits to carry weapons, to prevent further repercussions that harm civil peace in Iraq.

Al-Kazemi stressed that the tension in the situation in Iraq is not in the interest of the country, and that there is no substitute for law, order and justice, including justice in the face of the blood that was shed in today's events.

He pointed out that the Iraqi government has abided by its pledges and set a date for elections so that the ballot box is the only deciding factor for determining positions, and that the alternative to this box is chaos that is not accepted by religion, principle, or national outlook.

And I call upon all citizens to abide by the governmental instructions to preserve the pure Iraqi blood and to block the way for those who want this country and its evil people.

And press reports indicated that clashes occurred between supporters of Muqtada al-Sadr and demonstrators in Dhi Qar Governorate, southern Iraq, with news of one dead and a number of wounded.
