yota691
Washington sends B-52 bomber to the Middle East "on a long mission" To "deter aggression, and reassure the partners and allies of the United States," according to the US Army Central Command 22.11.2020 Washington Washington / Anatolia The US military announced, on Saturday, that it will send a B-52 (Stratofortress) plane on November 21, from an air base in North Dakota, to the Middle East. The Stratofortress aircraft are long-range, hypersonic, jet-powered strategic US bombers. In a statement on Saturday, the US Army Central Command described the plane’s mission as "long," noting that its goal is "to deter aggression and reassure US partners and allies," without talking about its place of stability in the Middle East. The said aircraft is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds of weapons, and has a typical combat range of more than 8,800 miles without the need for aerial refueling. The leadership clarified that "the United States does not seek to cause any conflict, but it is still committed to responding to any emergency around the world." It stressed its commitment to preserving and protecting freedom of navigation and trade throughout the region. The leadership added that "the ongoing mission demonstrates the ability of the US military to deploy combat air power anywhere in the world within a short time and integrate into Central Command operations to help maintain regional stability and security." These developments come in light of increasing tension between Washington on the one hand, and Tehran and its allies, especially in Iraq, on the other hand, in addition to unconfirmed news of a possible US attack on Iran, before the end of President Donald Trump's term. 2 8

As soon as I saw this my skin crawled. The only base in North Dakota that handles the B-52-H is found in Minot ND. Minot AFB Location Minot AFB is located about 13 miles north of Minot, North Dakota in Ward County and only 50 miles from the Canadian border. The base is also known as Team Minot due to the close relationship the base has with the community. Minot Air Force Base is home to the 5th Bomb Wing and its two squadrons. Mission The mission of the 5th Bomb Wing (AFGSC), Host Wing is skilled, proud Airmen providing full spectrum, expeditionary, B-52H global strike and combat support capabilities to geographic commanders and the Commander, USSTRATCOM, and 91st Missile Wing (AFGSC) mission support…Weapons on target, on time! That B-52-H just sent to the Middle East would have most likely been carrying nuclear weapons. Conclusion; President Trump is about to declare Martial Law and is sending a CLEAR message to the world that this is an American problem and if anyone attempts to interfere they will be dealt with in the most harshest of methods. This may sound crazy but consider this, there are only two bases that service the B-52H. Barksdale Air Force Base. Location N.W. Louisiana But now, Barksdale AFB has quietly rid itself of all nuclear weapons.Feb 17, 2012 Minot AFB, Location North Dakota Originally opened in 1957 as an Air Defense Command (ADC) base, Minot AFB became a major Strategic Air Command (SAC) base in the early 1960s, with both nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles and manned bombers and aerial refueling aircraft. Serves: Ward County, Minot County: Ward County Minot AFB is the only publicly known AFB that services nuclear weapons that are compatible with the B-52H bomber. And while Minot AFB houses many other munitions for the B-52H it would not be a stretch to speculate that the reason for this B-52H bomber leaving for the Middle East from Minot was because it is housing nuclear weapons. This action strongly suggest that President Trump is planning something in the next week that he feels would put America in an appeared state of weakness to the world, and thus wanted to send the world a CLEAR MEASSAGE. Don't mess with us, or else. Santa's opinion Trump is preparing to declare Martial Law and Arrest the thousands of traitors in our government that have subverted the will of the people in this election. Just last week former President Obama joked with Kimmel that the Navy Seals would oust Trump from the White House. Nancy Pelosi has also made threats to the Presidents life. This nation must not stand for such behavior. This nation must take extreme measures to rid itself of the real Russian and CCP interference in our affairs. These actions will give some world leaders cause to think that America is weak and they may then wish to use this time of instability to attack us. Trump just put a "TRUMP CARD" in the air letting everyone know that any attempt to attack us during this time will result in their anhelation. 4 2 1

yota691
Pompeo says Mideast strategy will be Trump administration policy 'until our time is complete' BY JOHN BOWDEN - 11/22/20 04:15 PM EST 558 © Greg Nash Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Sunday that no shift in U.S. policy towards Iran would occur in the remaining months of President Trump's term in the White House. During an interview with Saudi-owned broadcaster Al-Arabiya, which is based in Dubai, Pompeo said the Trump administration's policy singling out Iran as "the central threat inside the region" would remain unchanged, according to the Associated Press. "It will be our policy until our time is complete," said the secretary, who like other members of the president's inner circle has not acknowledged President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election. “Our policies don’t change. Our duty doesn’t change. My responsibilities don’t change,” he continued. “I still have an obligation — every hour, every minute — to defend the American people and to keep them foremost in our efforts, and we’ll do that. We’ll do that to the very last minute.” Biden has indicated that he will offer Iran's leadership “a credible path back to diplomacy" should Iran return to compliance with the nuclear agreement struck under the Obama administration in 2015. His policy is a sharp departure from that of the current president, who withdrew the U.S. from the agreement and has directed his administration to pursue a campaign of sanctions dubbed "maximum pressure" aimed at Iran's government and nuclear program. The U.S. and Iran have appeared to be on the verge of direct military conflict multiple times throughout Trump's tenure in the White House, including at one point in 2019 when Iranian forced down a U.S. surveillance drone over the Strait of Hormuz, and after the U.S. killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, in a Baghdad drone strike in January. 1
yota691
Politico: Washington is strengthening its forces in the Middle East in anticipation of possible Iranian attacks Publication date: 10.12.2020 | 21:49 GMT |world News Follow RT on The US "Politico" website said on Thursday that the United States is taking measures in anticipation of possible attacks against its military in the Middle East by Iran. The website quoted a military official, who asked not to be named, as saying that Washington had raised the level of alertness of its forces in the region and strengthened them, noting that the Pentagon in particular was closely monitoring "disturbing indications of preparations for a possible attack" by factions allied with Iran in Iraq. The site pointed out that the pro-Tehran factions recently resumed their missile attacks against US forces in Iraq, nearly a year after Iran bombed the Ain al-Assad base in response to the US assassination of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani. Under these circumstances, the Pentagon announced today, Thursday, that two B-52 strategic bombers had flown from the Barksdale base to the Middle East with the aim of "deterring aggression" in the region, in addition to other steps taken in recent weeks, including the dispatch of the aircraft carrier "Nimitz". To the region and transfer an additional fighter squadron to it from Europe. The official confirmed to "Politico" that these moves come in an effort to dissuade Iran from taking hostile steps against the United States forces and the international coalition, explaining that the Pentagon is concerned that Tehran might take advantage of the transitional period in the United States and the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, especially as this comes Against the background of the approaching anniversary of Soleimani's assassination. The official said that these factors call for the United States to take a "strong defensive position in the region now," adding that these moves do not bear an offensive character, and there are no offensive plans at the Pentagon. The American "Axios" website reported two weeks ago that the Israeli forces had been instructed to prepare for the scenario of the United States launching a military strike on Iran. Already mounting tensions in the region have risen since the assassination of the prominent Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh near Tehran. yota691
U.S. bombers fly to Middle East in mission to deter Iran A U.S. B-52H Stratofortress prepares to fly over Southwest Asia in May 2019. (U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Keifer Bowes) By ASSOCIATED PRESS DEC. 10, 2020 9:52 AM WASHINGTON — In a new show of military might, two American bomber aircraft flew from the United States to the Middle East on Thursday, in a round-trip mission that U.S. officials said covered a wide swath of the region and was a direct message of deterrence to Iran. The flight of the two massive B-52H Stratofortress bombers, the second such mission in less than a month, was designed to underscore America’s continuing commitment to the Middle East even as President Trump’s administration withdrew thousands of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. The long-range heavy bombers, which are capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear weapons, are a formidable sight and are flown less frequently in the Middle East than smaller combat aircraft, such as American fighter jets. Adversaries often complain about bomber flights in their region, deeming them a provocative show of force. “The ability to fly strategic bombers halfway across the world in a nonstop mission and to rapidly integrate them with multiple regional partners demonstrates our close working relationships and our shared commitment to regional security and stability,” Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top U.S. commander for the Middle East, said in a statement. The troop cuts coupled with the impending departure of the Nimitz aircraft carrier strike group in the Persian Gulf have fueled allies’ concerns that the U.S. is abandoning the region. Those worries are compounded by fears that Iran may strike out at the U.S. or allies in retaliation for the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi. Iran has blamed the death on Israel, which has been suspected in previous killings of Iranian nuclear scientists. U.S. officials are also worried about a possible Iranian retaliatory attack on the anniversary of the U.S. airstrike that killed Iran’s top general, Qassem Suleimani, and senior Iraqi militia leaders near Baghdad’s airport in early January. Iranian-backed militias routinely launch rockets near installations in Iraq where U.S. and Iraqi troops are based, and officials worry about a larger, more deadly assault. “We do not seek conflict,” McKenzie said, “but we must remain postured and committed to respond to any contingency or in opposition to any aggression.” A senior military official, who spoke to a small group of reporters on condition of anonymity to provide details of the mission, said the administration believed that the risk of an Iranian attack on U.S. or allied interests in the region was a bit higher than normal now, and the Pentagon wanted to ensure that Tehran thought twice before doing anything. Adding to the concerns is the presidential transition in the U.S. after Joe Biden’s November victory over Trump. The official said Iran or other adversaries often believed the U.S. might be weaker or slower to respond during a political transition, which American officials flatly deny. Bomber deployments and short-term flights to the Middle East and Europe have been used in the past to send a message to Iran, a few times in the last two years. According to officials, the bombers flew out of Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana on Wednesday and continued its flight into Thursday. Officially nicknamed the Stratofortress and informally known as the Big Ugly Fat Fellow, the B-52 gained lasting fame in Vietnam as an aerial terror. The two bombers arrived in the Middle East early Thursday morning and then began the return trip home. They flew a roughly 36-hour mission, traveling across the Atlantic Ocean and Europe, then over the Arabian Peninsula and down the Persian Gulf, making a wide loop near Qatar and staying a safe distance from Iran’s coastline, said the military official. The flight was coordinated with U.S. allies in the region, and aircraft from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar flew with the bombers as they traveled through the airspace, according to the official. A senior Defense official said the bombers did not drop munitions of any type during the flight. On some training missions, U.S. aircraft may deploy live, inert or simulated conventional weapons to ensure forces stay proficient. U.S. bombers from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota flew a similar mission in late November. The Nimitz and as many as three other warships in its strike group had been scheduled to head home by the end of the year, but they have been kept in the region, and no new timeline on their departure has been given. Officials, however, have made it clear that the ships’ return hasn’t been decided and the additional time in the gulf area is open-ended. The Pentagon announced last month that the U.S. would reduce troop levels in Iraq and Afghanistan by mid-January, asserting that the decision fulfills Trump’s pledge to bring forces home from America’s long wars. Under the accelerated pullout, the U.S. will cut the number of troops in Afghanistan from more than 4,500 to 2,500 and in Iraq from about 3,000 to 2,500. 1 1
