InvestSMART’s Evan Lucas says the Reserve Bank is using a series of public speeches to define how it will handle monetary policy.

“We know that for the first time in their history they’ve started quantitative easing,” Mr Lucas told Sky News.

The central bank earlier announced it will inject upwards of $100 billion in the form of QE.

“Suggestions are that they could talk about how they will continue to do that.”
