Al-Rasheed Bank announced today, Sunday, that it will raise the salaries of employees of government departments.

The bank said in a statement that Alsumaria News received a copy of, that it began "today, Sunday, to raise the salaries of government departments, whose financing reached the bank."

Shafaq News / A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance stated that the ministry will start paying the salaries of the teaching cadres, employees and workers at the Ministry of Education for the months of October and the second, starting tomorrow, Wednesday .

The source said in a statement to Shafaq News, that the reason for delaying education salaries was for the sake of distributing two months' salaries instead of one month .

And the Iraqi Ministry of Finance announced the launch of the salaries of employees for the month of last October, starting on Sunday evening, after being delayed for more than two weeks .

The launch of salaries came after the House of Representatives voted at dawn last Thursday, on the borrowing law that the government has been waiting for to secure the delayed salaries of employees for several weeks, as the country is going through one of the most difficult financial crises, due to the decline in oil prices .

The legislation of the fiscal deficit law comes to secure a legitimate cover for the government, given that Iraq has not approved the fiscal budget for 2020 due to the crisis of protests that toppled the previous government and was followed by the Corona pandemic crisis, which reduced the state's revenues by nearly half.
